I'm still not great but practice + a desire to get better works wonders.

pencil i did of a pic of myself years ago. will put up more....maybe. not very good and always had a problem with shading, but meh. i really like faces and hands to draw.

last one. a bird from an exercise in 'drawing on the right side of the brain'. incredible book and one that for all of you who say you can't draw i would look at if you are interested in drawing. she says basically if you can write, you can draw. it is just learning a different way of thinking about it.

What camera/lens(es) did you use on the dragonfly and butterfly photos? They've got nice sharp focus and shallow DoF.

Sony A35 with Sony's low end 85mm (f2.8) lens. Which is my favorite lens right now. It's great for portraits and insects.
