There are too many perfect albums itt imo. I'm too picky tho prolly. I'd suggest one but I'll nitpick about it for the next hour if I throw something out there.
Burial - Burial
Miles Davis - Bitches Brew though he has a few I could choose.
Marvin Gaye - What's going on
John Coltrane - Complete Live at the Village Vanguard
A lot of albums here but I'd stand behind any of them ... I can legitimately think of only ~10 songs I'd skip over on this entire list:
Adele : 21
Allman Brothers Band : Live At The Fillmore East
Beastie Boys : Check Your Head
Big Head Todd & The Monsters : Midnight Radio
Blind Melon : Blind Melon
Broken Social Scene : You Forget It In People
Bruce Springsteen : The Wild, The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle
Cyrpress Hill : Black Sunday
DJ Shadow : Endtroducing
Grateful Dead : American Beauty
GNR : Lies ( that's right, I said it ... this album jams )
LCD Soundsystem : Sounds of Silver
Liz Phair : Exile in Guyville
Neil Young : Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere
Paul Simon : Graceland
Pink Floyd : Meddle, Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals
Portishead : Dummy
Radiohead : In Rainbows
Silversun Pickups : Carnavas
Steely Dan : Aja
Talking Heads : Remain In Light
The Field : From Here We Go Sublime
The Fugees : The Score
The Rolling Stones : Exile on Main St
The Velvet Underground : Loaded
Thievery Corporation : The Mirror Conspiracy
Toots and the Maytals : Funky Kingston
Tortoise : TNT
Westbound Train : Come and Get It
Wu-Tang Clan : 36 Chambers
Yo La Tengo : And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside Out
Great list! Soooo many amazing albums listed here....
I'm a hip-hop guy... and for those of you picking The Chronic (either of them), well, Doggystyle is better than both of them as far as gangster rap is concerned.
Other (near) perfect rap albums:
Nas - Illmatic
Jay-Z - Reasonable Doubt
Jay-Z - Blueprint
Lupe Fiasco - The Cool
Brother Ali - Shadows On The Sun
Brother Ali - The Undisputed Truth
Outkast - ATLiens
Outkast - Aquemini
Common - One Day It'll All Make Sense
Common - Be
Kanye West - The College Dropout
Cormega - Tha Realness
Kendrick Lamar - Good Kidd Madd City
Notorious B.I.G. - Ready To Die
A Tribe Called Quest - Low End Theory
A lot to like about this list.
Underground, but for my money the greatest hip hop album ever released.

Chevelle that made Send the pain below? I think that was on their first album. I liked their 1st and 2nd albums but never listened to them after that. This was 10 years ago too so I don't know if they made any more albums.
Wow this is interesting thread and like a lot of the picks here. IDK my definition of a perfect album is just an album first time you pick it up it blows your mind and you non stop play it from 0:00 til the end straight, and rock out. A lot of great genres and tastes.
For me when I grew up I was a Metal kid before Punk Rock took over my soul...and while I had purchased a few Punk albums prior to this album it was when I first time I heard this album that the realization hit me and made me say **** this I'm all in:
Rage against the machine-self titled and evil empire
Mos def and Talib kweli-Mos def and Talib kweli are black star
Eric b and rakim-paid in full
Raekwon-b4cl
Jay z-reasonable doubt
Wu rang clan-36 chambers
Weezer-blue album
Queen-a night at the opera
David Bowie-ziggy stardust and the spiders from mars
Nirvana-unplugged
