Yeah I had a chance to buy one years ago and ended up getting a 1972 SG.

I love the SG but I still wish I could have had the Dot as well!!

I just started playing last year. I wanted the Dot soooo bad, but it was a little bit too twangy for what I was planning on writing and playing. I ended up with an Epiphone Les Paul 100. I love it, but I never got over the Dot. I have been writing some soft stuff and I think the Dot will work perfectly.

I want an SG eventually as well. The pawn shop down the street has '98 model that looks like it has hardly been played.

I guess guitars are like tattoos, once you get one you always want more.
