Life would be too easy without vices like coffee and smokes. I gave up smoking almost a year ago but I dont think I have a chance of giving up caffiene anytime soon.

I saw Sonic Youth open for Neil Young and Crazy Horse about 21ish years ago.. don't remember jack chit from the show, though lol oh well...

My friend from school and his brother had the most awesome vinyl collections.

Primarily Old School metal/hard rock. 70's/80's.

But heaps of 12" and imports.

They had cupboards full. As in Ceiling to Floor.

They used to travel to good old USoA just to get their yearly fix of Albums.

Crazy days!

like, I would never consider buying a CD really these days, unless I'm out seeing a band play a gig and I really dig them and want to buy their CD. But other than that, I mean come on. You just download the ****, right? Everybody does. Who ****ing doesn't? Come ooooooooooooon, gimme a break, right? You just download the ****. Why buy a ****ing CD?

... but a ****ing vinyl record? That's different, isn't it? A vinyl record is special. It's like this big mother ****ing soft black dinner plate you hold in your hands and you look at the huge album cover and admire the art on it, and you just take it all in and you can't wait to put it on the turn table and set that needle on it. This **** just cannot be ****ing downloaded. You can't find this **** on ************, isohunt, anywhere. It just can't be done.
