Where to find a singer? Where to find a singer?

so im 31 now. i first picked up a guitar when i was i 4th grade but lost interest as a teenager cause well life happened. anyways ive become really good at guitar in the last few years. i dont know what happened but about 2-3 years ago I just starting to have this crazy spurt of musical creativity.

After rediscovering my passion for guitar, I've been able to "write" about 5-6 good songs per week on my guitar with almost no effort...yet it sucks ass because I cannot sing to save my life.

sooo, as someone who has no formal musical training, no connections to other musicians or music schools etc...what is the best way to go about finding a good vocal talent?

i'm just in this for the fun and ability to express myself. I feel like a lot of my music would sound really good with a female singer as its light, and mostly written on and for classical/acoustic guitars played cleanly.

any help is appreciated!

thanks, never thought of CL. i guess i could also start finding some local live spots and check out some bands I'm assuming a lot of these people would be willing to work multiple gigs?

this is a good way too. even if they can't/won't, they might have more connections for you. gets you a bit in to the local music scene.
