Hi hi hi there. Welly welly welly welly well. Let's let this thread be for cool, unusual, and uncommon instruments. This is not to say that the common instruments are bad. Piano, drums, guitar, bass, violent, trumpets, all very very great instruments. But what about stuff that's .... different? Oh my brothers, let's fill this thread with such noisy things.

liked that hang drum, reminded me of one of the songs on a local steel drum band's album from ages ago (can't listen to the full track there, but it's an amazing song, one of the best on the album, and well worth a buck if you like steel drum music with a strong emotional feel)

also, not terribly unusual, but sweet **** can this kid rock them



I could barely make the set I had make any noise. they're supposed to be one of the trickier percussive instruments to learn/master

Sorry guys I don't want to make a new thread, anyone can recommend some free or otherwise computer audio mixing software, can sample and ****? I used to have a really beat up mixer that could take 8 sec samples, but the speed would slow down when I turned up the volume. Looking to fart around with some sampling and stuff, I def have thought of a lot of new ways to use one in the last 8 years.
