you just need something for a bit of crunch at times - it opens up harmonics and great sounds on your guitar too
sometimes I'll get some crazy feedback going that resonates well in a certain space and it's amazing - there's more to guitars and amps etc then just playing - resonant tones are amazing in my opinion
like the start of say foxy lady is jimi winding up the volume on a single note and getting awesome feedback
I believe it was one of the first recordings of that style of feedback
it seems simple but it's crazy effective
might have to check it out. if i can find a cheap one. i do now have an extra cable to be able to hook one up.

it is definitely a brighter sound depending on the switch setting. might be a bit more distorted but not much as far as i can tell. i really do like how it plays so far though. glad i made the impulse buy. gotta not spend much now though as i want save for vegas this year.
