I got one on the first try, seems complete, but only 48 pages long. If that´s the one I´ll send it to you, PM
Awesome. Yeah 2516 is what I need. Very much appreciated.

What kind of patch bay? TT? Or TRS?

I hope it's TRS, cause TT's are evil. They're the best when they're hooked up, but when you're the one who has to hook them up, they're horrible.

The new tape made all of the difference. No sticky rollers. Was able to do multiple tracks and dubs. Had a minor glitch that I had to debug. Bad wiring connection. Also didn't realize exactly how the Monitor loop worked. Got that figured out now too now. Still so much to learn about how to shape the sound.

Hey POR, I read an article that remind me of your analog studio shenaningans. I don´t know anything about analog, so i found the introductory part (the description of analog inserts and effects) fascinating.

http://www.music-tech.com/headlines...._from=&ucat=1&

maybe in the chain knowledge this is like mega basics, but still i tought it was very "cleanly" explained

Really good stuff. Much appreciated. I'll need to read it a few times to really understand it.

I'm still learning the Mega Basics about how to use the gear. My initial recordings are still pretty poor at this point (my terrible playing doesn't help).

Haven't even started looking at how to get it mixed down to digital.

Been working on a bunch of originals. My brother is coming over tomorrow with a small drum kit. We're gong to work out a few things and record them.

Whee.

Spent more time setting up than anticipated. He forgot a couple of items for the drum kit. And we are rehearsing for a party in a couple of weeks. His primary band has been gigging once or twice a month for the past few months. They want us to put together a set to open for them. So we decided to just focus on rehearsing our old songs (all originals) with the intention of being able to open for the main band maybe starting next month.

Now that the kit is set up in my Studio, we want to record the newer originals. Maybe this weekend.
