I thought it might be beneficial for all interested in acoustic guitars to have a place to talk.
Myself, I have a Martin 000-28EC & a Kronbauer MJ...one dark chocolate, the other rather sweet white marshmallow. Both equipped with a K&K Western Mini pickup. I play mostly fingerstyle.
Talk about your stuff, style, etc., or, if any of you have any questions, somebody might be able to help !

Lowden S Cedar/EIRW, 100% fingerstyle. Warm, fuzzy overtone galore. My style has become louder and more aggressive though, so I might be looking into swapping out for some larger-bodied spruce top option.

Aqualung, I have a 000-28ECB. It is my absolute favorite guitar. I also have a 000-28EC from the second year of production. The two are completely different but it in very nice way. The Brazilian wood is much warmer/darker and it is a tone machine.

Funny thing though, I also have a mid '60s 000-18 that gets played 90% of the time. Something about that simple guitar that tickles my fancy.

I play all fingerstyle; not even sure I have any picks right now. Biggest influences are probably Don Ross, Michael Hedges, Laurence Juber. I'm also a fan of ragtime and Travis-style tunes but don't play those as much anymore.

Cool...yeah, I like Juber a lot myself. Although, I appreciate Hedges' and Ross' contribution to acoustic guitar playing, I could never really warm up to their styles.
Yeah, ragtime is fun to play. I wrote a little ragtime piece a while ago called 'Round About Rag'. Heh, you might even like it.
Do you have your playing posted anywhere ?

I don't have anything up right now. I guess that would be one of my musical "goals" for 2013. I'll give your tune a listen here in a bit when I switch over to desktop.

For other people that may not know what we are talking about, acoustic fingerstyle is pretty awesome because it works as a stand alone performance, i.e. you don't need band members like a drummer who never shows up. It typically involves playing separate bass and melody lines on one guitar, which can be the most difficult thing to grasp at first because you are doing two different things at once (like left hand + right hand on piano).
