6-handed I raise 2-3-4-8-A UTG. Folds to BB who calls.

2:1 I draw another Ace. Check/Bet/Call

1:1 I draw 2-3-4-5-8. Check/Bet/Checkraise/3Bet/Call

Pat:Pat

Check/Bet/Call Opponent shows 2-4-5-6-7

1) I feel like this was an easy 3-bet but I'm not sure what I should be doing with other hands in this spot. For example, what if I had 2-3-6-7-8, or even an 8-6, I call the check raise and now he pats in front of me, are we just patting these hands behind and praying were good, or should we be 3-betting these hands too to make him break if he's weak or otherwise make our decision easier. He'll pat a lot of weaker hands if we don't 3-bet him on the turn, so are 8-6's and 8-7's sort of like a freeze here? He could also have us beat with those hands and we miss an opportunity to break and draw out with smooth draws, but we have no information???

2) What hands should we be check raising with in villains shoes given that the turn went 1:1?

3) If you were villain would you 4-bet the turn here with his 7?

2) What range do you think Villain would check raise on turn? Given it was 1-1 they shouldn't be c/r light because you should only be betting made hands. They should have a made 8 or better, so

1) 3b your best 8s seems good.

3) What's your 3b range? That determines if a 4b is good here. Against passive live types that don't bluff and only 3b big hands I'd call down. Against tricky players who can raise wider and 3b to break hands, I'd 4b.

I'm surprised villain doesn't x/r river if he's not going to 4bet turn. Seems nitty as obviously you're value betting most if not all 8s on the river.

Is villain hoping you'd pat back a 9 on the 3rd draw that you'd otherwise break had villain 4bet turn? Like if you have 97432, you'd prob break and draw to the nuts vs a 4bet/pat but maybe you'd pat back after he just calls the 3bet hoping your opponent has a worse 9. Or perhaps with a rough but still nutted redraw with a stronger 9, like 96432 or 95432, the 76 not 4betting gets you to pat back incorrectly.

Villain is legitimately scared - his check/raise is a strong line so a 3-bet should be quite strong here. I don't know if he should've capped or not, but his calling down doesn't seem that bad.

This is the right amount of action but the wrong direction. Third should have been brrc and bc on the end.

I hope you made a note on him kr-ing third, because that's immensely and easily exploitable.
