Normally I play at higher limits than 15-30, but what are your impressions about the field of Aria tables?

The regs are generally decent to v good if not stuck or drinking. But sometimes they are stuck or drinking. My understanding is that there have been lots of bad tourists in the game since the beginning of the series tho.

The two times I've sat in the Aria 15 game it's been somewhere between mediocre and okay. Both times I've left at like 11pm, so maybe I'm missing out on some sick fishies in the graveyard shift.

What's the difference between mediocre and okay?

Unfortunately I've been at the rio when I play as they have the widest selection and only place to play big o.

Okay is people making lots of tiny errors

Mediocre is realizing maybe I'm the fish in the game

i played the 15-30 and the 20-30 mix games at the aria the past two nights. it's my 2nd time playing most of those games, and first for some games. I was probably the worst player at the table among the regs.

15-30 we played stud8, badacy, badeucy, o8, 2-7td.

for 20-40 we played badacy 5-5 with a 300 cap, baduecy, big O 300 cap, stud8, 27td and o8

I will be in vegas July 22, 21 ,22 and am looking for mixed games at the 4-8 to 8-16 range. Really a 6-12 would be perfect. I am willing to play any game but would love to find something with Badugi, pinapple and Big 0 in it. I am only there to play poker so if anybody knows where the game is that week please post. I will be checking MGM, Aria and Venetian but I am looking for fun over anythign else.

8/16 at v tonight and aria 15/30 is supposedly going

A 30-60 mix at Red Rock keeps showing up on Bravo. Any idea what it's about?

OE w a bunch of the older Vegas regs. Game usually starts around 10 or 11 and often breaks early evening-ish though today the game broke at 6 or 7 (of course when I was stuck a little bit)

Thanks for the info. I know who you are referring to. Not much tourist traffic at the Red Rock, although I do like the room.

I would have guessed the Wynn to be the next stop for this crowd. They seem to be pushing reduced-rake limit games and have had a 10-20 O8 going.

It's actually a slightly different crowd. Basically the core group is the old Bellagio o8/stud/mix players some of whom had been playing 15/30 o8 when the Bellagio game(s) died.

30/60 is a time game and the deal at red rock is decent. Game seems to have legs.
