Gotta be a good story and a weatlh of knowledge there. It looks like he is doing well in the $400-800 8 Game lately and I've seen him playing $200-400 and $500-1000 TD as well.

Anyone else second this motion?

Sure I would do it.

Do we need a formal set up or can people just ask question in this thread ?

I wont answer any technical questions (like how do you play 256 ????) but anything else is welcome.

It's fine with me. Let's just make this thread your well. I'll change the title of the thread.

I'll start. Please tell us something about yourself, your background, how you got started playing poker, etc. - whatever you want to share.

This will be your well. If somebody posts something derogatory or reveals something about you that you want deleted or edited, ask and I'll take care of it for you.

Thanks for agreeing to host a well.

Come on, I wait all day and you never played me HU in 3 month, as soon as I have 2 other HU running you sit down to my table and I insta sit out (yes I happened to played the BTN and not gave it back, but as I told you I do not respect you in anyway so I really dont care). I will be happy to 2 table you at 1/200 anytime you want any game.
This is all I will say on that subject, buzz please delete all new shaun deeb post on that subject in this thread (if you want to keep discussing it publicly shaun feel free to make another thread)

Not sure where to begin there, I guess I will state a bunch of fact about me :

- I am 23yo and I have been considering myself as a full time poker player for the last 5 month or so. I am also graduating from a business school in france but since my Pokerstars contract started I have been focussing exclusivly on poker.

- I am now playing up to 500/1k 2-7 TD and 400/800 mix game, I started out playing poker seriously focussing on triple draw only but as I moved up the games where not always running at the stakes I wanted to I ended up learning a few others games to always have a game to play.

I also focussed on mix games since I believe this is a form of poker that will get bigger in the near future, at the higher stakes this is the only game that have tables running daily at 400/800 (equal to 100/200 NL and PLO), you hardly see game running that high in NL or PLO only

I spend half of my time in europe and the other half in thailand where we have a huge poker house with a bunch of french poker players. I moved there as soon as I started playing full time, living with other poker players really helped me improve as a poker player, both in the games themselves but also in how to manage certains things (like tilt, BRM etc)

Did you ever hire a coach or use training sites while learning poker?

What game in the 8game mix do you feel people moving up in 8game would do best to improve in? Generally speaking of course (assume they are about equally skilled in each of the games, maximizing the skill in which game would yield them the best results)?

Does it bother you that every single TDL regular thinks you are a total jerk in the chat? I have heard you are a really nice guy in person from people who have met you but I find your immaturity in the chat (especially since you are a winning player) to be very annoying and unprofessional

I beg 2 differ.
[especially after seeing Victor Ramdin's chat after Victor snowballed me once in 5/10 Badugi. ]

I played Seb back in the early days of TD @ Stars, in 1/2 and 2/4. Compared to the douchbaggery of a number of others brought up as online pros @ Stars recently, I feel Seb is definitely the most gentlemanly, as well as the most deserving of pro status. He earned it.

It's bad enough that a guy who's worked his way up in draw games was promoted amongst a "graduating class " that includes Leatherass.

[btw, I usually open-raise/ cold call to 4 bets IN ANY POSITION w/ a 3-card 256 in Badugi, it's quite std. ]

The difference I noticed between 40/80 and 1/200 is the average lvl in stud games, but if you want to improve your overall winrate in 8game the games to work on would be in that order :

PLO
TD
NL
studs
LHE
O8

BBQ was the first full time poker player I got to meet, he helped me a lot in many many ways. There is no way I would have moved up as quickly if I never met him.

Last I heard he moved to LA and still play poker full time.

I dont think thats a true statement, I met most of the HS TD reg and I am friend with all the one I met.

Beside that, no it does not bother me, I wouldnt trash talk if it did. I am happy you find me annoying anyway, thats the point Unprofessional, I am not the one helping the fish to improve while playing 500 hands / month

How have you met raised and bibi ?
Are you using pokerhands ?
Do you think mixed games are more profitable than hold em or plo ?

general Q:
lotsa high stakes regs in Badugi and TD plat VERY short-handed.
[2 and 3 handed]
do you lean more towards keeping hella notes on opponents,
or using a basic playing range and adjusting?

Are there any games you are particularly weak in in the mix?

I met raised and bibi via a comon friend that was living with them in thailand, he invited me to join them and I snapped called.

I installed it recently, its cool to see what my exact winrate is at every limit but apart from that its not that usefull

Yes HS mix are A LOT softer than HS NL and PLO

I guess I do both, I do take a decent amount of notes and I adjust my play based on those

With playing so many different forms of poker and considering some PL/NL thrown into the mix, what kind of BRM do you use?

As you moved did you increase the size of your roll in relation to the limits played?

I'm new to Stars, just started playing there in Jan. Joined mainly to play 8-Game and am really enoying the TD and Badugi games as well. How did you become Red Pro?

Do you ever see yourself moving to America to get more live action?
