Re: Question on 27TD hand reported from $50K FT: is this a good pat?

Whoops misread that J8632 was all in, then Bloch's check is def fine. I still draw if I had J8632, probably pat T8632.

Does the fact that this is a tournament change anything?

Only in that the other two players are more likely to check it down. You are allin, so you want to maximize win %. Doesn't matter if tournament or cash.

What Betgo said + I would add the fact that "hero" is all in is very relevant, in a close spot being all in makes a rough pat more palatable, but this spot is not even close, all in or otherwise. T8642 would be close...

would you expect that grinder and bloch would have stronger draws than might otherwise be predicted by their actions in this hand? Flatting the all-in predraw and checking it down is pretty weak but because of the tourney payouts they both stand to gain if Isra is knocked out even if they don't win the pot.

The fact that Isra is allin and they are checking it down means to the two opponents may have relatively weak draws. If Isra wasn't allin, he could have been betting and maybe forced one of them to fold. Unlikely either opponent bets when they are both drawing the same number of cards and more cards than Isra.
