Hand: [2d 3s 7h 4s Td]

Round 3: (7.50 BB)

SB takes 1. Hero takes ???

Am I better off keeping the 10 and hoping SB and button miss their draws, or should I be aiming for a better hand here? I think HU I pat but I don't know what to do against several draws.

Also, should I raise 7432 predraw for value? What about something like 732?

Always cap a wheeldraw(pretty much all 1-card draws you plan to play) predraw. On the turn Id check. You dont have a full hand and have a 1-card behind that should do the betting. But I guess its OK cos you cant rely on others to bet here. I always break this against 2 opponents. Your draw is just too good and you cant bet a T on the last draw anyway. You probably have to fold it too if someone bets. Id much rather give me an easier decision on the river.

A ten is a money dog against 2 people taking one. A 9 is a bit of a favorite. Predraw is super standard with a 4 card hand.

I probably shouldn't get involved in this thread because I don't have any answers for you. And if I did have an answer, I'd defer to Death Donkey who has already responded.

But a couple of thoughts occurred to me that might not have occurred to you and that might help you make a decision.

• First, we're not sure Button is even going to take a draw. Button may have made an eight or better on the previous drawing round and may be patting.

• Second, I think it's roughly 3:2 that one or both opponents, if drawing one card to eight or better, will out draw Hero if Hero pats the ten.

Pretty much all the above. Also at these stakes when i have played a ton of times people will call a bet drawing 2 on third draw which frustrates the hell out of me when they hit.

BTW outcome?

Thanks for all your advice. Since I posted I stumbled across this page. Playing around with that shows that I have more equity drawing 1 against 2 people both drawing 1 than if I pat.

I broke and drew a 7. Button drew one. SB bets; me and Button fold.

Why do you hate people who pay to draw 2 against a pat hand? Surely those chasers are just handing you money.

Are you saying I should c/c rather than bet and risk getting raised if the button has made a hand? I thought I should bet here since SB drew two and looks like a station and I'm drawing smooth.

Its more of a caution against being 1 card behind out of position but betting is fine too. As long as you know he will not bet behind you if he didnt improve a bet is always fine here. You dont want it to be 3-way if you can help it.
