before any draws, dealt 23478, full 6-max table. is this a hand you break, why/why not? i'd like to leave the circumstances pretty open-ended to hear how people think about the hand, but just in case the answers are "it depends"

That deep I like drawing in both scenarios. 50 bb it's probably a pat though ?

i would draw......if i catch an 8 I would pat......gives I chance to make a 7........plus is more believable line.....patting the flop will make people want to chase u down..... which 87 cannot like.....also with it being a big bet game implied odds are more important

1a. I like drawing, we can possibly get x/r bluffed at some point, which is tough with a weakfish pre draw pat hand.

1b. I'm pat; we can get 2 streets of value then check behind most of the time.

2. Easy draw; we have hand that cant get value MW but a great draw to a hand that can and we can still bet if villains each draw 2.

I would tend to break it much more often in limit than in PL. Tending towards dropping bombs on 1st and 2nd with the made 87xx. We lose a bit of equity drawing instead of patting, and we also let him realize more equity (since he is more likely to continue versus a draw cbetting than a pat).

In scenario 1 I pat and I would believe cbetting something around 60% pot against a 1draw and around 40% pot against a 2draw.

I don't believe getting c/r bluffed off out pat is a legitimate threat at any point; moreover we are around the middle-bottom of our patting range, so b/f all the way down seems legit.

Scenario 2 I might actually break instead of drawing. At 50PL I might just pat and value triple against the average drooler though. There are arguments for both sides
