Hi 2+2,

We play pineapple in our mix where we discard 1 card before the flop. My wife was dealt Ad Qc Kc. Which should she discard pre? The A or the Q? Thoughts? Thanks!

My intuition says its the Q. AK is always a stronger hand and having three cards to start will always lead to domination issues with KQ in a game where top pair is a very strong hand.

For me it would depend on the action and the stack sizes.

Multiway with deep stacks I would take the suited KQ. Shorthanded or shallower stacks the AK.

Akq, dont u think it is a crime to discard? And thinking about implied as multihands, plo style, we have a better game.
