The royalty structure and minimum fantasyland hand is important to your decision, but assuming it's somewhat standard royalties and QQ+ for fantasyland, then I'd set AA in the middle to prevent fouling the made flush. You still have pulls to make QQ or KK up top to beat the AA and make fantasyland too.

This game is pineapple open face chinese, often abbreviated just pineapple. Pineapple can refer to can refer to any variant of a given poker game that adds discards. You're probably thinking of pineapple hold em.
Pretty certain AA would go up top here. You have 3 pulls left. Keep in mind that you don't even have the bottom locked up as your opponent is drawing to a queen high flush and has a decent chance of making it.
What if we are playing progressive in the same situation (FL with Aces get 16 cards)
Would everybody put the Aces on top or we still play safe and go for the middle?
I've read in the OFC literature that the EV of 15 card fantasyland HU is 7 points (not counting the royalties you get for getting QQ+ up top). I've not seen anywhere the EV of 16+ card fantasyland situations. A 16th card adds many more card combinations, so it could be really valuable. But without knowing just how valuable it is, it's hard to say what you should do here.
