badugi: should I get crafty with a K?

7 handed, part of a mix, with an unusual betting structure: 22/44 limits with 5.5 ante
Predraw: utg raises, I defend bb with 8(Q63)
1st draw: 2/0
Flop: I check K863r, utg bets, hero?
Was wondering if I should raise here to try to get him to break a better badugi? Tougher because pot is 132.50 so I have less fold equity if he has something that can't break and he'll be incentivized to call down. What if this were regular ante-free badugi? Should I call and d1 instead? If so, would it also be a call/d1 ante-free?

I would fold this preflop, especially to an UTG raise.

Are you saying you drew two to 83? I would fold this to an UTG raise too, even with the ante.
As played, yes raising to induce a break is an option, but you drew two so you're less likely to have a good badugi than if you'd drawn one, so your opponent will probably be stubborn. Also he's UTG so he's probably got a decent badugi rather than Q or JT or whatever. I'd prefer to just D1 and fold on the turn if you miss.

D2 to a 63. The parens notation means cards in the parens are rainbow. And for those saying fold pre, look at those antes!

OK. 63 is quite a lot better than 83 (which is basically garbage), so I think I'd defend that with the antes.
