Limit badugi MTT with 4200 chips at 100/200 small bet/big bet, near the chiplead still in late reg, playing 7 handed.

LJ with 600 chips limps, I raise in CO with T94A badugi, button with 1500 chips snap-3bets, LJ calls -- what do I do and what's my plan?

I'm Nit Folding in this spot, ur only draw is 2 card facing a potential pat hand. Seems to me like a auto fold.

The main questions are what's his 3bet range and does the snap-raise mean anything? I'd guess the range is something like J-badugis and better and strong 3 cards, but weighted towards made badugis since people at low stakes aren't aggressive enough with their 3 cards, so I feel like I'm pretty far behind.

I ended up calling, LJ draws 1, I pat, button snap-pats. LJ goes all-in for final 40 chips, at this point I feel like I want to get out of there but I have to call for just 40 more in case there's any chance the button will just flat, but the button raises to 100. Now I only have to call 60 to win 1200+ but I really don't think my badugi is good since the button clearly has been acting with the pre-select buttons, so I call the 60 figuring I'm getting the right price to draw 2. I don't improve, x/f the turn, final draw goes pat/pat and the CO wins with a 6542 over the button's 9876.

You're being results oriented and nitty. His range may be what you said (in which case you are the favorite btw) or it may be any badugi and you are a huge favorite. You realize vs a range of some premium 3 cards and any jack or better you are the favorite? There are many more jacks than better badugis.

Nitty is generally something I am not, I just so rarely play full ring badugi. That's why I posted the hand here! Thanks to everyone for your comments.

first of all most villains are 3 betting any pat badugi and good 3 cards so folding would be atrocious. i dont think there is too much of a difference between just calling or capping. i think that just depends on the opponent. vs an unknown tho im literally never folding this at any point in this situation.

I think you have to cap here, and with any badugi that you play as a pat hand. If you cap sometimes and flat sometimes, how do you balance that?
Folding would be terrible as Happyclam says.

I prob would have done that in a normal situation but I thought the fact the guy had the raise any button clicked seemed really strong especially in this low stakes game
