Noticed the WSOP circuit event page has a Draw event structure sheet. Almost 99.9% sure there is no circuit stop that actually has a draw event. Anyone have other info?

I've won three TD multis in the last four days. It's a refreshing breath of old times. Of course, I won around $7 total, so I'm still pretty jealous of you guys who get to play on Stars/FT or live.

Some pretty, er, speculative things seem to be going down in the 2-7 NL SD $10k from the short time I've been railing poker news' updates. This hand for example:

Larry Wright raised to 14,000 on the button, Ashton Griffin reraised to 45,000 out of the small blind, and Jason Mercier cold-called in the big blind. Wright tank-called as well, Griffin drew two cards, and Mercier drew one. Wright stood pat.

The trio all checked, and Griffin and Wright revealed identical {10-}{7-}{6-}{3-}{2-}'s. Mercier mucked.

http://www.pokernews.com/live-report...hips.86771.htm

3-betting oop from the SB and discarding 2 doesn't look so great. With him acting first it's not like he saw someone pat in front of him so he could break a bad Jack etc either.
This was also an interesting hand, just flatting the min open, pat, and shove over a lead:

Ashton Griffin raised to 12,000 in the cutoff, Jason Mercier called on the button, and Greg Mueller called in the small blind. Mueller drew one, Griffin two, and Mercier stood pat.

Mueller led out for 24,000, Griffin folded, and Mercier moved all in for effectively 63,000 [more]. Mueller tank-folded.

My guess is that he probably had a snow that included 763, I think he'd flat or simply fold a hand that included a 7 and a 2. If this was the case, he probably reasoned that drawing two was better than snowing. I got away with two three way snows on day one but Shaun Deeb looked me up with a Q after he'd just moved to the table, it went 2, 2, pat. He later said that he thought I was Dejan. This was a 3bet pot though and his hand was clearly playable as a 2 card draw so it's a different scenario.

The second hand is pretty standard imo. Profitable LAG ranges will have the best two card draws from the CO and Mercier is flatting with 86432 through to #1 with the intention of making the blinds squeeze. Mueller's lead isn't the best, he's going to be forced to fold 87 a lot of the time, though he's more likely to have a 9 in this exact spot.

But I checked the player list on pokernews at the time and there was nobody called Dejan, but - assuming that's him - I guess they just didn't report his chip count.

That's him on stars. The ? was because I don't know if that was definitely who Shaun Deeb was referring to.

Yeah he meant Dejanaceking. He busted pretty early on day 1 so he didn't get reported.

Mercier's repping the nuts. Other possibilities include something like JT976 and a very small chance he did something like Negreanu's "creative" play on this page:

http://www.wsop.com/tournaments/upda...rr=5&curpage=3

He never has anything inbetween a very good 8 or a very rough, unbreakable pat so 87 is the same as T6 imo.

Yeah the no limping rule is such bull****, it's so that they don't run out of cards apparently. I've also heard that the pros back in the day banned limping to make the fish lose quicker. The more options available, the more skill has an influence. Limping can definitely be a profitable play in this game.

For any oldtimers who happen to be around, Tom Bayes (Christopher Mecklin) is currently on the final table of WSOP $1500 KCL.
