Agree with iron. Unless you have been out of line here too much or you often show up with very slim pats this is a check back. From what I saw the first night you guys played(at least I think it was the first night) David Williams will be drawing to beat you almost always and will only call you if he hits what he hit(assuming he was drawing to the wheel here which I would guess he did).
So in my usual blabbering replies, I think you played it perfect but table dynamics could squeeze out a valuebet here.
Edit: Btw, wish I had a bankroll to play you guys. Looks like a really good and gambling game. Just what I like.

Re: Other Poker Regs/BBV thread
So happy to 1) have time off from to school to be playing poker again and 2) see my PH Triple Draw graph going in the right direction.
I also really wish Stars would offer guarantees on their small stakes Triple Draw and Badugi tournaments.

Well, i'm not exactly a reg, but...
PokerStars Game #47736325218: Single Draw 2-7 Lowball No Limit ($0.25/$0.50 USD) - 2010/08/05 15:28:44 EET [2010/08/05 8:28:44 ET]
Table 'Atria III' 7-max Seat #5 is the button
Seat 1: Planetist ($36 in chips)
Seat 2: Angyalfold ($8.75 in chips)
Seat 3: volk0076 ($20.50 in chips)
Seat 5: Horrz ($28.65 in chips)
Seat 6: Zubarew ($42.50 in chips)
Seat 7: wayne 456 ($28.80 in chips)
Zubarew: posts small blind $0.25
wayne 456: posts big blind $0.50
*** DEALING HANDS ***
Dealt to Planetist [4s 3d 6c 7c 8s]

Angyalfold: folds
volk0076: calls $1.50
Horrz: folds
Zubarew: calls $1.25

What would you say is my best option here? I haven't played with the villain before this session, but so far he's been real quiet, haven't seen him play too many hands so far.

Re: Other Poker Regs/BBV thread
You're right that that guy is nitty. I would call down, but I would get away from it if he bets pot or larger post.
Also, where are the 5CD guys? This isn't the KCL thread.

Re: Other Poker Regs/BBV thread
KCL has special rules that Stars dont have. KCL is with ante and one very special rule that you cant openlimp. I wouldnt call the game Stars spreads KCL.

Iron answered correctly.
KCL (Kansas City Low) is single draw 2-7 lowball.
2-7 lowball is rarely played with a joker.
When a joker is used, I don't know if the game is still called KCL or not.

To me this is like saying that NLHE isn't NLHE if there is a mandatory straddle.

I would. 2-7 draw isn't so special as to be the only form of poker whose name changes based on whether it has an ante, or a mandatory straddle. Call it Kansas City Lowball if you like. Call it "that bull**** game" like most of the players in my home game do if you like. It's the same game, whatever the rules are.

My 2 cents: I think this is a fold preflop.
