Re: Other Poker Regs/BBV thread

Is there a special name for a triple check-raise? Brag:

Poker Stars $28.78+$1.22 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball Tournament - t50/t100 Limit - 2 players
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

Hero (BB): t1445 28.90 BBs
BTN/SB: t1555 31.10 BBs

Pre Draw: (1.5 SB) Hero is BB with A K 7 4 2
BTN/SB raises, Hero 3-bets, BTN/SB calls

First Draw: (6 SB) (2 players)
Hero draws 2, BTN/SB draws 2
Hand: T 7 6 4 2
Hero checks, BTN/SB bets, Hero raises, BTN/SB calls

Second Draw: (5 BB) (2 players)
Hero draws 1, BTN/SB draws 1
Hand: 7 6 4 3 2

Third Draw: (9 BB) (2 players)

Hand: 7 6 4 3 2

Final Pot: 17 BB
Hero shows 7 6 4 3 2 (Lo: 7,6,4,3,2)
BTN/SB mucks 9 8 7 3 2
Hero wins 17 BB

Villain's flop aggression = turn aggression = river aggression = 90%.

Beat: I only won two out of three against this guy.
Variance: he created some by playing 2 hands/minute.

Re: Other Poker Regs/BBV thread

My only worry with all the x/ring is that maybe we could have got more bets in vs someone so agro. Are they only agro when checked to? It would seem both of these villains had pretty poor hands, so I guess it's a results-oriented wp

In general, it's a horrible move to make in TD, the river will check through a lot for lost value. It's more about the "I owned you so bad" factor.

Villain no doubt congratulated himself for correctly reading me for a wheel draw; clearly, my river bet had him beat 60% of the time (3x#1, 3x#2, 4x#10) so raising would have been spewy.

Table VPIP was over 30% when I came in. It was 21% when I left just 23 hands later. (yuck!)

Crazy $50/$100 flipfest going on, 4 people putting bets in until the pot is $2000 and then they just check it down.

Odd that it only showed me the last two hands when I started watching, it usually shows more.
