This may be the worst possible setup you could conjure up.
On what planet would it make sense to put the 94 in the middle and the king on bottom?
You have to manufacture a complete EXTRA pair with this set up vs 94/K/QQ
You have to try and make 2 pair on the bottom regardless (And if you put the K in the middle and happen to get the good fortune of drawing AA you only need to make 1 pair on the bottom)
I would love to hear your rationale for your setup. Maybe i'm missing something...

You're completely right. I'd do it 94/K/QQ. I can see an argument for 9/K4/QQ (makes it a bit easier to make a small two pair in the middle). I can see an argument for QQ9/4/K (hard to foul). I can't see any argument for K/94/QQ. We're wasting the fact that we can avoid fouling our QQ by making just a single pair of KK.

you're missing a little fact that by starting with QQ you're going to foul every time you don't get a K or running AA etc

94 on the bottom is also completely lol since you have no shot to straight or flush, so you severely handicap your bottom flexibility for no reason other than to try and hit a 3-outer and then you also need to make something out of 94 as well

This is yet another example of why pineapple is such a great game- everyone thinks they are good and their strategy is sound. In reality most people have played a very very small sample size, often with their friends who are of similar skill level.

* Pineapple Version
* QQ + on top for 14-Card Fantasyland (non-progressive)

You are saying you agree with the following opening setup:
QQ - Top
94 - Middle
K - Bottom

or is it

K - Top
94 - Middle
QQ - Bottom

(I guess i may have been confused by Alphas's original QQ/94/K post.. I assumed the QQ was his top and he was going backwards, but now im leaning towards him saying the QQ was on bottom, 9/4 in the middle and K on top)
In any regard, I think both of those setups are horrendous.
