Hi all

I would like to know where i could play one of these games live. I Don't mind the location, in america or europe or wtv.

I just want to know all the places i could play live, and what stakes they offer.

Thank you

Supposedly the have a mixed game at the Victorian Grosvenor in London, where they supposedly offer all lowball games + the usual games like O8 and S8. Stakes are 10/20 and 75/150. Rake at 10/20 seems awful (7dollar half hourly), but might be beatable. Maybe someone can confirm/elaborate on this?

Don't bother coming to Melbourne/Crown, tried for a few months with a couple of other guys to get a 10/20 2-7 or mixed game going, might have run 4-5 times... And the rake was $30 per player per hour. Still, the play was so bad that that was probably beatable

I've seen plenty of discussion of games (most recently in a thread from DD still on the front page of the DOP forum), but do you have a minimum stake you're interested in? I mean, you probably aren't going to travel internationally for less than 50/100 or something?

yeah 50-100 is probably the minimum I would play live.

Here is a list of places I have seen mix games run, games can be regular to really spotty. Adding the rooms to your twitter can be a big help if they have it running. BravoPokerLive Poker App is also great lots of casinos on there. WynnPoker App is great to check up on them.

Los Angeles
Commerce (I saw 100/200 running this week) *Get the bravo poker live app for your phone

Bicycle (20/40 mix rare from what I heard)
Hollywood park has a regular 20/40 EO
Someone once told me there was a 100/200 at crystal park but I seriously doubt it.

San Diego
Palomar has a semi regular game 300/600 when I was there sometimes with a mandatory straddle.

Las Vegas
Aria they have 300/600 and bigger. A game of around 15/30 runs often *Add them on twitter @Ariapokerlive

Bellagio same as aria. but their small game seems to run bigger 40/80 50/100 *Twitter @BelllagioPoker

Wynn can run big mix games sometimes a small 4/8 mix runs at night *Add them on their own Wynn Poker App

Rio Of course runs big mix during series. *Add on twitter but it is called @wsopliveaction Might show up on the Bravo Poker Live App this year not sure though.

Venetian Poker I have seen run mix from 4/8 to 15/30 *On BravoLivePoker and Twitter @VenetianPoker

Tropicana runs a small mix game on certain days of the week like 2-8 spread limit *Add twitter @tropLVpoker

Treasure Island can run a small mix game like 3/6 or 4/8 *Twitter Add @TipokerLV

Imperial Palace can run a small mix game like 3/6 or 4/8

This is a nice summary.

As a Vegas reg, I have some clarifications to offer. First, you're much more likely to find a mix game on a weekend night as the bulk of players are local regs or dealers looking to blow off some steam. As such, games are generally decent though some of the regs are solid and the mid-limit games tend to be considerably tougher than the low-limit ones on avg.

Bellagio and/or Aria are good for high limit and both have a game running nearly every day (Bel is 40/80-75/150 typically and Aria is 300/600 or 400/800)

As far as low limit games, the only one that runs consistently is a 4/8 dealer's choice at tropicana on Saturday nights (mix usually includes HORSE+td+badugi+ba1/ba2+crazy pineapple). It's a fun group of people that don't take things too seriously.

The next most consistent is the Imperial Palace (3/6 not 4/8) which has a 10 game mix that starts Sundays at 7pm ... probably runs 2-3 times a month with mix of locals and tourists.

Aria: 12/24 used to run nearly every day for much of last year but the regs got busy with other things so now games go off randomly with a different group of players (typically Brian Micon and friends)

Wynn: game doesn't happen that often and when it does it can be hard to get into as the game gets started by Wynn dealers and their friends on Friday or Saturday nights when they get off at 2am

TI: I think this game only ran during the WSOP but I could be wrong.

Rio/WSOP: nearly always a game at 50/100 and above. 10/20 or 20/40 gets going a few times a week in July.

Venetian: 8/16 mix or HORSE often gets going during Deepstack events (especially on non-holdem tourney days) and occasionally on non-DSE Friday or Saturday nights.

Orleans: Similar to Wynn. Local regs/dealers start games at random times. 4/8-8/16 depending on crowd. 8/16 FLO8 regs will often play when it goes and they tend to be pretty weak at the draw games.

just posted in LVL that an 8/16 Mix game runs at the Venetian right now.
Last time I checked, the mix was dominated by triple draw games:
2-7TD, Baduci and Badaci (Razz was also there).

enjoy

As this has been bumped up, I feel I should follow up my post and mention that the 10/20 mixed game at Crown in Melbourne now gets up every Friday, generally starting about 9pm. The rake is still outrageous (Crown has said they want to make $250 an hour from the table, so $25 from each player and then 5% rake until they make the $250), and the play seems to be getting better, depending on who's playing obviously. But it's a really fun, social game, and there is some hope we can get it going in a rakeless environment in the future if something reasonable can't be worked out at the casino.

Nice summaries, guys!
Unfortunetely mixed games are almost unknown in Europe except some action in London and, on very rare occasions, some 20-40 euro HORSE games spread in Nova Gorica (Slovenia) with the softer players in the history of poker (lol).
In Vegas, for what I know, Sam's Town and Suncoast spread some low mixed games (mixgameAddict could say more about them).
Last year i saw in Reno (NV) a $3-$6 mixed game (and a razz table too).

Low and medium limit mix games are booming in Vegas! Games have been popping up at wynn and red rock lately and MGM is trying to get a regular 6/12 game going. On multiple days this week there have been 3 or more concurrent mix games running between 3/6 and 20/40.

The future of mix games looks bright!

In vegas they would have more selection since in LA the Commerce is pretty much your only option for mixed games.

In general LA has more action at the mid limits, but mixed games rarely go under nosebleed stakes from my experience

We have been spreading either a 4-8 or 6-12 (sometimes both) on Tues, Weds, Thurs, and Friday at MGM Grand. The game usually starts around 5pm and has been going into the morning. It's spread with a $3 max rake and $2 hour in comps.

That sounds promising! What types of games are in the mix(es)? Does it depend on the players coming to a consensus, or is there generally a set list of games played? Which of the following games have you seen in the mix:
badugi, baduci, badacey, 2-7 triple draw, NL 2-7 single draw, razz, stud 8/b, omaha 8/b, 2-7 razz, razzdugi, crazy pineapple hi/lo, A-5 triple draw. How much do you think the games will increase during the WSOP? In the stud games, what are the antes and bring-in? Or is it just a bring-in? Once a game gets full, is it full for a long time and hard to get in or do second or more tables open up occasionally? Are they spread 8-handed with two people sitting out during the draw games?

Thanks in advance for any and all answers!

It's really awesome MGM is pushing 4/8-6/12 mix lately. If I make it back there this summer, I hope it will still be going strong.

Always antes in stud games. Structure is different in different rooms.

Draw games are dealt 6 handed w some rooms allow 7 for players who straddle or by general table agreement.

Hi guys

Do you know any mixed games running in Europe? Its fine too, if they are just playing one game (fe. flo/8). Is there any chance to find these kind of games at EPT Prague?
Thx a lot

Yes. Just look at the EPT schedules (Google them). They always have them.
Malta starting in ~10 days has lots of things to choose from. Like HORSE Dealer's choice, O8, Stud8, PLO8, Sextuple Omaha, Quadruple Stud, etc.
Prague also has lots of mixed to choose from, like Quintuple Draw.
The EPT is basically the only time that you will be able to play those in Europe.
I highly recommend you check them out.
