- 6 handed, active field, UTG with a hand 853 or 843, open or fold?

- Unknown opponent, last draw, hand is J7532, opponent draws one, do I stand pat or draw 1?

- 10 low with two draws remaining, opponent draws 2, stand or draw?

853 and 854 are normally a fold unless it folds to you on the button (or defending from the bb)

Yes, pat the j

I prefer patting the t, if its rough its mandatory, with a smooth draw you have more flexibility but I still think patting is the strongest play

I open 843 in HJ and 853 starting in c/o usuallly

I'm always drawing here. You're the favorite anyway and have a +, instead of -, implied odds spot

I draw unless you have a straight draw. The rougher you pat in these spots the weaker your pat range becomes and the tougher it is to play. Nothing wrong with trying to make a hand.

Vs tight-passive-weak table, can you open 853 or 843 utg?

Would you pat T7532 same scenario? J8432? J7643?

Not really enough info, but I'd always fold 853, maybe play 843 under perfect conditions, just like I'd fold 843 from HJ against stronger players. Do they overfold pre and/or post? Do they respect the position of the raiser? Do all your snows, 1-1 river bluffs seem to get thru, etc?

I'd pat the 3 hands you've listed, J8 is the closest call

As to the first question, I'm really accustomed to playing in tougher games so I'm honestly not sure.

Yes you definitely pat the ten. Too big of an edge. J8432 can go either way and J7643 for SURE pat because you have a straight draw. Other Jacks that don't have straight draws that should be pat are just rough draws - J87xy for example. In those cases, you're ahead when you pat and behidn when you draw, so you draw. When you're drawing really good you're ahead either way so you might as well take the implied odds, too.
