Drawing three in Baduci and Badaci

In what situations is drawing three cards normally correct in Baduci and Badaci?

More info, please.

I see people who frequently open or call raises cold and draw three from all but under the gun.

The guy next to me did this all day and kept chanting "Everybody's doing it." Sounded like he was a fan of The Color of Money.

Cant be that bad in these games. With 27o and A2o Id give it a go at least, probably need some kind of wheelish brick on the side though.

I would open 2 good wheel cards from co or btn (esp vs tight blinds) and overlimp in same positions vs fishy/passive opponents and complete in SB. Would also call a raise in BB completing the action.

People do seem to draw 3 a lot in these games, I don't think it's good, but I'm not sure I'm right.

Draw is a game of position, so I prefer to draw 3 on the button, or in the BB for a cheap price. But I still open a good 2 card in CO, sometimes HJ, obviously unsure of whether it's right.

But 27o is not a good 2 card in Baduci , it' s horrid. I'd rather have 23o, 24o, or 25o, and maybe even 26o.

Re: Drawing three in Baduci and Badaci

tbh, there are some games/tables of TD that i open 100% of 2w, and in those games i always want to open 22w in HJ but i try to restrain myself so i imagine that opening 2wo in CO+ in badeucy is pretty standard or should be at least as getting to draw 3 at a 2c badugi 3 times is an ok stealing situation. i also imagine that these games are super soft at any level below 30/60ish and that even if it is a slight mistake, you wont get punished for it!
