No more daily 27.

No more weekly with satellites.

No one single red tourney during the all week.

The $5 2-7 single draw and 5 card draw tournaments, all of them deleted.

Yeah but a shiny new $11 PSKO NL 2-7

There's still one daily $5.50 or $11 tourney for the 2-7 players and a bunch more $1.10/$2.20s. From what I could see the Daily tourneys hardly ever ran?

Yes $11 PSKO is great but not enough. They are in place of Daily 27

Nope there are no $5 buy in mtts. They removed them and that was not needed. We only have $1, $2 and $11 buy in mtts. Previously we had $2, $3.30 turbo deep sats, some $5 mtts, $7.50 hyper sat, daily $27s

On Sundays the schedule have become worse. $1. $2 and $55 buy ins

Daily 27 for Single Draw and Badugi often canceled because they started too early

I was irked that they didn't have limit 5 card draw comps on their schedule. Now they are getting rid of the lot. Pokerstars is moving down in everyone's estimations and they are exploiting their market dominance.

If this trend continues, it is only a matter of time before a worthy challenger arises.

Let us pray for market competition to prevail!

My message to support:

Hi

Yes I would like to give feedback.

I feel that Pokerstars is exploiting its dominant market position at the expense of its customers. There have been a number of developments in recent months that have supported this inclination I have.

To my knowledge, the company has shown exceptional profits year on year and yet, recent developments have shown that further profit is being asked of it by those in charge. As a result, unprofitable offerings are being withdrawn and what is left is reorganised, and the rake has increased, justified only by "everyone else is doing it so why can't we?"

Don't get me wrong, I believe in the free market. I'm strongly in favour of capitalism. Profit to me is a good thing because (devoid of the coercive activity of governments) those that provide for their customers the best get the most profit. Pokerstars is a perfect example. But there comes a point when such a dominance by one company can be achieved that it begins to exploit its market position, complacent to the potential for new challenging competition.

I have been highly impressed with Pokerstars' long term developments of its software functionality. It truly is second to none. I was impressed with the alterations to the ante structure of stud variant cash games. The diversity of games and the sheer immense volume of players they attract has made Pokerstars the deserved market leader. It deserves every penny of its profit. But I think Pokerstars is heading towards a direction that will engineer a decline for the company.

I have discussed this with many of my friends who do not play NLHE games that Pokerstars is becoming a place where we can no longer ply our trade because the offerings are declining and players are being squeezed more and more. We note that the sister site, Full Tilt, no longer offers the games we play.

If this trend continues we will take our money off the site and leave. We will tell everyone we know to leave and it won't be long before Pokerstars is facing both a serious contender and much declined profit margins.

This is not a concern felt by myself and my friends only. Fellow posters at poker forums such as TwoPlusTwo are at this moment in fierce discussion over the matter as the PokerStars reps will be aware.

Please pass on this message and ask for me that Pokerstars' growing complacency and arrogance does not persist on its current trend.

Cheers
Adam

I don't think I ever won a draw mtt. So I guess these changes are good for me

Still I can't understand the reason for them from a business standpoint. I understand why they removed draw games from full tilt and why they have increased rake and cut back on fpp rewards, even though I don't support any of those changes.

But removing $5 and $27? If they had trouble to get enough players to cover the guarantees, why not just remove the guarantee, but keep the tournament?
