So I introduced a friend to 2-7 TD and we play it pot limit. I can't find it online anywhere but i have seen a HH in this forum of a pot limit TD hand or two. Does anyone have experience with this game?

Villain has little to no experience with this game outside of our friendly heads up games. We usually play 1-2 blinds with 1 dollar ante. Pots nonetheless get big quick.

Anyways, snowing I think goes up in value in this game where you can really bet someone off their hand on late streets, amirite? I tried snowing him once so far and it didn't work because he had 85432 lol but I think it has some potential if deal like 22227 to just pot every street and pat unless he is patting and calling down too, right?

Also it seems like making liberal calls with like 237AA preflop versus a pot size open seems fine now, even out of position because when stacks are deep (and they usually are about 100BB or so deep), then implied odds becomes huge.

Any other major adjustments people would suggest for this game? Thanks.

P.s. what's the best way to induce him into playing other games like badacey and baducy?
Also we play a lot of razzdugi pot limit too. That game seems to normally be played fixed limit. Any suggestions on how to adjust razzdugi strategy when the game is now pot limit instead of the normal fixed limit? Just pot pot pot it for value as often as possible? lol

I used 2-7 Pot Limit T/ D as part of a mixed game big bet tourney. Loved it but pots got huge!

It's on Stars as PL, but only at low/micro stakes. It used to be on FTP, both NL and PL TD.
And it was also featured in the WSOP this year in the Dealer's choice tournaments and in the Big bet mix event.

We played it today a few times. I prefer playing Badacey vs. this villain since it's a newer game to him.

We play with $1 ante and blinds of $1 and $2 BB. Pot sized open preflop would be $8 max from button I guess.

There was a high stakes reg battle at PL2-7TD recently. Any idea what inspired it?

There was a good deal of analysis on a number of big hands here on 2p2 relatively recently. Maybe in this subforum but also in the high stakes rail thread, pretty sure. I tried searching just now and didn't find them, but it is there.
