2-7TD - When to pay off on the river as a bad pat:1

Villain seems pretty decent, haven't been playing long but I've seen them at slightly higher stakes, and they haven't put a foot wrong yet (well they did make a weird bet out of sequence but apparently it was a mis-click).

Cliffs: Assume good player.

Poker Stars $1/$2 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball - 6 players
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

Pre Draw: (1.5 SB) Hero is UTG with K 7 6 5 3
Hero raises, MP folds, CO calls, BTN folds, SB folds, BB folds

First Draw: (5.5 SB) (2 players)
Hero draws 1, CO draws 2
Hand: T 7 6 5 3
Hero bets, CO calls

Second Draw: (3.75 BB) (2 players)
Hero draws 1, CO draws 2
Hand: T 7 6 5 3
Hero bets, CO calls

Third Draw: (5.75 BB) (2 players)
Hero stands pat, CO draws 1
Hand: T 7 6 5 3
Hero checks, CO bets

Is the good T enough if I'm not really worried that this person will start exploiting me if I fold too often here?

Is it a fold even if I do think the player might be capable of exploiting me? 2:2:1 is generally a stronger range.

P.S. Let me know if it's a fold pre, but please also give feedback on as-played.

Id raise and play it preflop. I'd be tempted to call and see what he has and make a note. it does give you more information about a player you know little about.

Given what i said above his bet does say i have a 97 better more often then not. Id still call though.

I fold that UTG pre. Maybe with super tight blinds or something. The hand is basically a 753 to me. As for river its a check-fold because you raise UTG, draw 1-1-pat and then check. Your hand look like a 97 more then a T7 and I dont think he is ever bluffing.

As played through the 1st draw not patting the 1st draw is a pretty big mistake.

Aren't we a favourite here vs a 1draw? I'd prefer bet/fold here rather than checking. Anyone agree? Once we give up the initiative we leave ourselves in this situation.

no because you're not favourite vs a calling range under normal circumstances.

Then surely if we check here we have to call? He will have enough bluffs / hands we beat to call?

not necessarily, and T7 is the worst hand we have.

For my understanding of game theory optimization, which I probably do not fully grasp, would we want to call with bet/pot= % of hands to fold to be indifferent to bluffing or do we need to take into account something else?

This is just a theoretical question as I know very few are checking to fold at this level and thus fewer than normal bluffs.
