This is a hand that put me in a tough spot in a $11 27 NLSD KO tournament.
6 - handed
HERO - MP $19870 chips ($15 dollar bounty)
VILLAIN - BB $5498 chips ($5 bounty)
Blinds - 75/150 /40 ante
Hero opens [Ts 3d 9s 4h 7h] 337, all folds
BB raises to 600, I call.
BB draws 2, Hero stands pat. Pot ~ 1000
Hero bets 546, BB raises to 2100, Villain ???
The play seemed pretty bad by him and if I knew he 3bets small OOP with a D2 I'd have shoved. As played I just don't think he would bluff enough even though my range is pretty capped to J9pat-T5 in this spot. Theoretically I think I have to call but would he do this with enough bluffs? He didn't seem the strongest player although that pre 3b was bad so he might over bluff which is easy to do with 2 card draws.
There is a couple of different ways to play this including a 4b pre which might have been good as I have a 97 D1 draw v a pat hand. I could have also checked back post draw as I am capped and have very few pat bluffs.

I think I just check behind and win the pot most of the time. Not as worried about a c/r as getting owned by a hand fractionally better than T97 that checked for a free showdown.

I think your bet was not good but as played it seems like quite an easy call. He has already shown he is random and aggro and you have a little better than expected hand.

Thanks guys your logic makes sense. It seems I made two bad decisions.
I just thought a bet had a little more value then checking as he only beats me a tiny % of the time.
