Looking for advice on this hand. Was it correct to draw 3 to the 6-7? Is the river value bet too thin?

6 handed game, button is solid:

Button raises, SB folds, I call in the BB with 6-7-8-K-Q

3:1 I make 2-4-6-7-10 check/call

1:1 I make 2-4-6-7-8 Bet/call

Pat:1 Bet/Raise/Fold

At least check/call... If you're aggro - you can easily bet first here
But I'm very new to this game, and this is my line.

Fold pre. Generally not defending without two wheel cards including a 2 or 3.

River is based on dynamics. Does opponent bluff raise? Do they think you do, and will they find your 3 to 1 to pat line is suspicious and will call light on end or raise a pair of 7s or 8s on end to get you to fold your bluffs? Thats a good spot to bet/call.

If your opponent is more passive, like some live players I play with, they won't look you up on the end and won't call with anything but an 8 on end. They also might stab at it if they pair and are checked to, so there is little value in leading river into someone who just calls with #5.

Fold pre

The only str8-draws to play pre draw is the ones that have a deuce in it. But sometimes 4568 is playable depending on the field.
