1/2 TD turn spot w 78T

still undecided w this one i'd like to hear some more opinions on this

basically in this exact hand bb is super spazzy but i realised afterwards

against super spazzy opponents that many times are f** w us here do u prefer to call and pat this so he breaks or draw ?

also the default for this situation ...i think against a spazz its better to call and open pat so u dont get played at and if he is pat c/f the river

against a villain who will break a 9 here c/r
or...because as DD says villain has 2 draws to go here effectively just break? bvb it seems too weak

Re: 1/2 TD turn spot w 78T

This hand is probably playable, but I don't know if I'd be taking it up against an agro opponent unless they are properly bad, rather than just overly aggressive. If I was going to play it, probably against a tight player, I'd raise. Best to pick it up PF. In fact, I'd say this hand is more playable from the BTN than the SB, and then it's 100% a raise.

As played, and with the read of a "spazzy" villain, you can't x/r/f the turn. They probably 3-bet hoping you would break something like you have, not ever thinking you would fold. However without position this becomes an almost impossible spot for you to not play exploitably, which is why I want to fold in the first place.

I'd be flatting the 3-bet, with this draw I'd be patting, and making another judgement call on the river as to whether I x/c or x/f. I'd be leaning heavily towards seeing a showdown, to try and build a better read of how they play.

+1, you are a sizeable dog with the Ten vs a 4 card hand with 2 pulls of the deck, not to mention reverse implied odds from being OOP and having a rough hand, and the potential to get outplayed
