Re: Pro Contract

Agree, more information would be very useful. In another HPP thread I mentioned following issues, maybe we can get some info here:

Quote:
A bounty on your head in all tournaments you play at High Pulse Poker – Paid and covered By High Pulse.
For how long? Is this during the time you play for free (3 month) ?

Quote:
Quote:
Flight and Hotel accommodation including €1,000 in spending money.
Really? Don't think I seen a promotion before where they pay the flights (Imaging you live in Australia or some remote island). If they do pay then that is pretty nice.

Quote:
Winners have to sign a 2 year contract.
Eh, say what! Well, would be nice if you could tell us what this contract is about. It could be "You may not play on any other online site during the contract"..
Without knowing the content I can not even be bothered to play as it could be a show stopper for a long time.

So some more information would be very useful.

Re: Pro Contract

@TxOutlawz
Unfortunately we cannot accept players from the US.

@Others
The 2 year contract:
Winners of The Pro Contract with High Pulse Poker will be promoting High Pulse Poker at the WPT. We reserve the right to keep you on contract for up to two years; depending on your results at the WPT.

While you are on contract with High Pulse Poker you are not allowed to promote other sites.

Best Regards,
Jonas

Re: Pro Contract

Jonas, please go through my list above.

Regarding the two year contract. Based on the terms on the web site it says you have to sign the contract no matter what, does not mention anything related to WPT.

Anyway, stays a no go, if a player does well at WPT then it sounds as if you can request the player to stay with HPP, even if the player is not interested. Don't think that is normal!

I think it is fair enough that HPP gets some promotional value in case one of our 3 horses makes a name for himself at the WPT.

As you wrote: Winners of The Pro Contract with High Pulse Poker will be promoting High Pulse Poker at the WPT.

(Which I total accept, anything else would be crazy from HPP).
But TWO years! Sure if you pay the player or have other nice bonuses then it might work out, but as long as we don't know the terms of the contract it is a bit hard.

Re: Pro Contract

Well basically it is just in case one of our players turns out to be the next big thing in Poker, then we want to be able to extend the contract beyond the initial 3 months. So if you cash big in the WPT and all the magazines wants to do interviews with you - this will happen with you in High Pulse Poker merchandise.
