Yeah, of course Punk is a worse face than Cena. Not that he really needed to be, but since he went ahead and got jammed into the WWE cookie cutter he was definitely worse.

In a thread where people have claimed that Wrestlemania 9 had the best finish ever and that it's not possible to look like a lesbian, this is the most ridiculous comment made so far (and I've always thought HBK was mildly overrated).

The WM IX ending being the best finish ever was most definitely a troll anyway though, so it doesn't even count as a real post. It was someone liking that ending and then calling it the best ending ever for maximum reaction.

Well yeah I realised it was hyperbole, but simply liking it is bad enough (coming from a Hogan fan).

As a complete wrestler I think HHH is better, HBK obviously better in the ring, I just think HHH is far more versatile as a complete package

Yeah I realise this is the thought process, and that is why I said HBK is slightly overrated (not taking anything away from his in-ring skills), but I dunno, I think that if someone is so good in one area then it makes them better than someone who was better in other areas (if you'll recall, I claimed Cena was a fantastic pro wrestler earlier).

HHH is my Cena though so I may be biased. I think he would have been a solid upper-midcarder with the odd World title reign (and I liked his first WHC reign as I implied earlier when I said him going over Booker was correct), but he just got waaaaay overpushed through the years. When I stopped watching regularly for a while in the mid 2000s it was mainly because HHH, not Cena, was being pushed too much for me. He was never a star on the level of Austin, Rock, Hogan, Cena no matter how much he wanted to be. Him closing out Mania as the conquering face World champion on a show featuring Hulk Hogan vs. The Rock (and Austin in the midcard, lol) was laughable.

Edit - he has put on some really good matches through the years though, to be fair. I really enjoyed his feud with Foley.

WrestleMania X, as much praise as it gets, is still underrated.

If ROH never existed, TNA would have already folded, and WWE would currently be unwatchable.

Maybe this is incorrect but I put a lot of weight in the main event when judging a show, and WM10's main event featured Yokozuna (twice!). If anything I think the PPV is actually overrated (as good as Bret/Owen was).

Every show has some filler. Perhaps my age and being there helped, but MoM's entrance was entertaining, and the Rogeaus(sp?) are good in the ring. You have two of the greatest WrestleMania matches ever, and Bret finally getting his Mania moment. Crush vs Macho Man was also an underrated match IMO.

Total Divas is watchable if nothing else is on.

I mean it's a two-match show that gets a lot of credit, and that's with everyone worldwide banding together to pretend that HBK-Razor hasn't lost something since the time that it happened. I agree that Savage-Crush isn't too bad, but it's literally the only other match on the card that even reaches the "watchable" bar. The only reason that match seems underrated is that people don't bother to point out that it's better than Doink and Dink vs. Bam Bam and Luna, and the reason that people don't bother to point that out is because "I ****ing hope so."

HBK/Taker HIAC is both guys best match.

No Mercy is EASILY the GOAT wrestling game. WM2000 has the better intro, though.

Revenge had the best intro with Sting appearing in front of that trunk.
