I thought this would be a fun idea. Anybody bring up your top 10 (feel free to do 5 or 500 as well). Could be your top 10 favorite wrestlers, your top ten list of the GOAT, top matches be it GOATs or favorites, top moments, you get it.

I put this in threadzilla a couple weeks ago. My top 10 favorite wrestlers:

Eddie Guerrero
Rey Mysterio
Mick Foley
Steve Austin
Ric Flair
Chris Benoit
Kurt Angle
Vader
Bryan Danielson
Brock Lesnar

A list of my top ten best WWE/NWA/WCW/WWF matches:
1. Undertaker vs HBK @ WM 25
2. Austin vs Bret @ WM 13
3. Flair vs Steamboat @ WrestleWar 89/Music City Showdown
4. Angle vs Austin @ SummerSlam 2001
5. Punk vs Cena @ MitB 2011
6. HBK vs HHH vs Benoit - WM XX
7. Eddie vs Rey @ Halloween Havoc 1997
8. Funk vs Flair - CotC "I Quit" match/GAB 89
9. Austin/HHH vs Jericho/Benoit - RAW 5/21/01
10. TLC III - Smackdown! 5/24/01

Didn't want to list matches twice and those matches are too close to call anyways. The first four are set in stone 5-8 could go in any order and 9/10 are in stone as well.

If this takes off a bit I'll add (probably many) more lists.

Top 10 wrestlers in no particular order:

Hogan - I was absolutely obsessed with the guy as a kid and would buy any tape just to watch, so I have to include him for nostalgia.

Kurt Angle.

Chris Hero.

CM Punk.

Ric Flair.

Chris Jericho.

Chris Benoit.

Bryan Danielson.

The Briscoe Brothers as a team.

Seth Rollins aka Tyler Black. His ROH matches were absolutely fantastic.

If I went on my favorites by work rate alone, I'm pretty sure at least 6/10 would be former ROH workers. Maybe more.

My top 5 favourite wrestlers. Was going to make a thread for this, but there was already a thread from a few years ago that I didn't want to bump up because it was old and a new thread would have been a waste.

1. Stone Cold Steve Austin

2. Ultimate Warrior - eff the haters, Warrior was the man.

3. Goldberg - Same thing as Warrior. Loved him.

4. Hulk Hogan

5. Razor Ramon

Random guys that I enjoyed, but didn't know where to put on the list.

2003 Kane when he first took off the mask. I thought he was badass at first, but got really lame after his feud with Shane.

Biker Taker. Of course dark side Taker is better, but this one was still cool, imo.

Kurt Angle.

Trish Stratus

Shelton Benjamin

Owen Hart

I also loved the Warrior. For what they wanted him to be, he was great. The fact he turned psycho later and was a scumbag really doesn't hurt him to me (much the way I enjoy Benoit still). He wasn't a very strong worker but he had really good matches with Hogan, Savage, Rude.

I feel like Hogan should be in my list somewhere but I'm way more of a work rate guy so I can see why I excluded him.

My absolute favorite wrestler is Eddie though. His promo skills are elite and his wrestling skills are untouchable. He worked as a heel or a face and gave 110% every time he performed.

Just finished Mick's documentary on the Network. Mick's top 10 matches! (in order):
vs. HHH - Royal Rumble 2000
vs. Orton - Backlash 2004
vs. HBK - Mind Games
vs. Undertaker - King of the Ring 1998
vs. Vader - WCW Saturday Night 4/24/93
vs. Edge - WrestleMania 22
vs. Rock - Royal Rumble 1999
vs. Sting - Beach Blast 1992
vs. Austin - Over the Edge 1998
vs. Rock - RAW 1/4/99 (first WWF title win. not great work wise but too good to not include)

Iso's last post inspired this list. I left it to 4 because I can't remember seeing any other ones that were any good, or I don't own them. My top wrestling DVD's/docs. Recent DVDs, anyway. I have a few from like, 1998 and 2000. Might rank those later if I remember which ones I have.

So anyway, here's the list of fairly recent ones:

1. Stone Cold Steve Austin: Bottom Line

2. CM Punk's BiTW doc

3. Shawn vs Bret

4. Epic Journey of The Rock

Just thought of a 5th. Tombstone: The History of the Undertaker. I wish they would release a second volume of this. Really good.

Really wanted to put the nWo DVD on here. but I couldn't. It is good, but should have been 30 minutes to an hour longer.

Also might do a list of ones I hated. This is fun!!!! Good thread.

10. Brian Pillman

---------------------------------

My top 10 tag teams.

There's a lot of other wrasslers/tag teams that I know I'm forgetting that could/should be added but these are the 10 off the top of my head.

The top 5 of both lists are locks. The next 5 could prob be replaced if I thought about it longer.

My favorite 10 endings to Raw:

10 - Rhodes brothers defeat The Shield to win tag titles
09 - HHH returns at MSG
08 - Locker room saves Daniel Bryan from The Shield
07 - Kurt Angle milk truck
06 - Shelton Benjamin defeats HHH
05 - CM Punk shoot
04 - The Hurricane defeats The Rock
03 - Kane returns after the 10 man tag in 2000
02 - The Nexus debut
01 - Mick Foley wins WWF title

I'm sure I missed some things, but this is what's in my head now.

I believe Austin/HHH vs Jericho/Benoit tag title change closed Raw? If so, def needs to be on the list

It did and the lack of any SCSA on that list is facepalm worthy.

Yeah, totally forgot about that. I'd stick that somewhere in the 5-7 range.

A top 10 on an idea given from threadzilla and Jim. Top 10 favorite Wrestlemania matches:

1. HBK vs Taker - 25
2. Rock vs Austin - 17
3. Bret vs Austin - 13
4. Steamboat vs Savage - 3
5. HHH vs HBK vs Benoit - 20
6. Angle vs HBK - 21
7. HBK vs Jericho - 19
8. Rock vs Hogan - 18
9. Owen vs Bret - 10
10. Warrior vs Savage - 7

EDIT: I really left off Bret/Austin? Fixed. jfc.

Top 5 guys that I wish I could've seen more of that I was too young to appreciate.
1. Ricky Steamboat
2. Ted Dibiase
3. Jake Roberts
4. Ric Flair
5. Barry Windham

My first memories of wrestling are WM 3 when I was 6. I'd have loved to watch all of these guys wrestle in 84-90 when they were all tearing it up and I could understand and appreciate them.

edit: omg that Milk Truck thing is awesome. Steph looked damn good. Angle doing the salute with two milk cartons . JR: "Pulling out the heavy stuff. IT'S HOMOGENIZED!!!!!"

I gave up wrestling for a while but started getting into it again since the WWE network. Can anyone post their top 10 hardcore matches or matches that took place outside of the ring?

Can't really think of 10 off the top of my head right now, but Shane-O-Mac's matches vs. Kurt Angle, Big Show and Steve Blackman come quickly to mind.

Can't really think of 10 either but Randy Orton v Mick Foley from a Backlash (forget the year) and Edge vs Mick Foley at Wrestlemania were both great. Definitely watch the Orton one first.

Yeah those are both pretty crazy.

Also there was one PPV match with Al Snow and Bob Holly where they ended up in the Mississippi River. I remember that being pretty entertaining, but I haven't watched it since.

Not in a particular order but they're all worth a watch.

Mankind vs HBK @ Mind Games is a cross between hardcore and regular wrestling. It's a must watch. It's insane.

Mick vs Orton @ Backlash 2004

Mick vs Edge @ WM 22

Edge/Mick/Lita vs Dreamer/Funk/Bealah @ One Night Stand 2006

HHH vs Cactus Jack - RR 2000

Cactus/Sullivan vs Nasty Boys - WCW Spring Stampede 1994

Cactus vs Sting - Beach Blast 1992

HHH vs Jericho - LMS match - Judgment Day 2000

Hardys vs Dudleyz - RR 2000

Austin vs Bret - WM 13

Those first seven are not from being a Mick mark (which I am). Just the first seven I thought of.
