This PPV should be pretty good. Almost ever match should be solid, Henry and Show have shown that they can work well together and HHH/Nash should be good for a bunch of lols. The only thing that could make this PPV bad is booking. Please don't put the I.C. title on Booker or the WHC on Big Show, and please don't have Cena burry Kane before he's even back for a full week.

I agree. On another forum some people noted it should be an awful ppv but I'm optimistic about this one. Despite the matches being uber predictable there should be some great action.

Goldust use to be tag partners with Booker. Maybe he will run-in during there match setting up a fued with him and Cody.

TLC and MITB are the only minor PPVs guaranteed to have two or three great matches each, with most of it being the undercard of course. In terms of entertainment id put them ahead of Summerslam and survivor series, but im a bit of a high spot mark. If it werent for HHH vs Nash id probably have bought this PPV.

Re a run in on Cody vs Booker, if it happens they are 100% insane to have it be anyone but Bryan who is both feuding with Cody and is in serious need of positive exposure to get over.

Pretty excited for TLC now that it has its own thread

Punk going over ldo, HHH/Nash set to be a comical AIDSfest, and Z-Ry gonna Z-Ry. Cody vs Booker should be interesting, I'm betting Booker can still go and he's for sure still over.

Oh, and they definitely need to reunite BookDust somewhere down the line.

I didn't see if this was already mentioned.

Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and Interim Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis announced this high-octane match where the Superstars will use tables, ladders and chairs as weapons and as tools to reach the WWE Title, which will be suspended some 20 feet in the air over the ring. Dangerous, harrowing and thrilling, TLC matches push competitors to the limit physically and mentally as they battle at dizzying heights in their quest for squared circle immortality.

Nice, that's nice.

Anyone know the kick off time? 8pm EST?

ok going to order this PPV legit-wise. mostly because i want to be able to see my friends sitting in the front and see where i would have been sitting had i not had to bail Maryland for a job. also TLC being legit ladder match is nice. Cole is an idiot for thinking it would be otherwise and the company not having set "rules" about things like TLC title matches is dumb.

I'm pretty sure all PPVs (with the exception of Wrestlemania) are 8PM Eastern start.

My picks:
CM Punk 80%/The Miz 18%/ADR 2%
Mark Henry 70%
Zach Ryder 75%
Cody Rhodes 80%
HHH 90%
Barrett 60% (seems like I'm going against the grain here)

tbh behind punk/ryder this is the safest lock of the night. wwe needs barrett to be in main events cuz barrett's in the feud, not cuz cena/orton are. they already failed badly in cena burying him, but orton can put him over without hurting himself and it's a complete waste and completely illogical if orton goes over here

You do realize what company we're talking about, right?
12-18-2011 , 04:10 PM
Barrett is in no way the #2 lock of the night. Cody is a WAY safer pick.

I don't see Cena been there tonight, he's still the biggest draw so to have him there and not have it advertised would be crazy.

There must be some reason why he couldnt be there imo

Anyone know what place would show a WWEPPV in LV?

count me in as saying i think this is probably gonna suck so i can say i told you so later. ive liked the last few ppvs, but this just has a capitol punishment feel to it imo. at least the punk me should be awesome tho.

i get the feeling this is the start of a long feud, possibly even one that goes to wm. i dont think barrett needs to win this match at this ppv to get over in the long run.

Im guessing there are a ton of places. If you're ever in doubt, I know Hooters broadcasts them, and there is one on the strip.
12-18-2011 , 06:03 PM
But if you go watch in a place like Hooters, you don't get to hear Jerry Lawler's commentary.
12-18-2011 , 06:44 PM
meh just pay a 5 year old to stand next to you yelling as loud as he can about whatever ******ed crap he wants for the entire show while telling other people to shut up. pretty much achieves exactly the same thing as king.
12-18-2011 , 06:50 PM
That's true. In fact, who knows; she might turn out to be one of King's ex-wives.

Nah the volume is usually loud enough to hear the AIDS commentary, especially if the crowd watching it there is dead. Only like half the Hooters show WWE PPVs now though, call ahead to find out
12-18-2011 , 06:57 PM
punk's "i think she may be a lil too old for ya, huh king?" jab was still one of the best things ever

i'm very interested to see if they have the balls to pull the trigger on cena/ryder, and curious to see what happens with DB/henry/show (this is teh 7th straight PPV bryan, u know, the guy holding MITB who's supposed to be a main event player/threat, isn't on the PPV card). beyond that i doubt i give a **** about any of the other matches even though some should be entertaining
