To say he was carried is just a cop-out, and I'm a HUGE fan of the work Punk did in that program.

Add: Since you edited while I was replying, it's not like Miz hasn't had a ton of opportunities, and ADR has been in the main event picture all year. If you just don't want Cena in it that's fine, but this isn't exactly the newest scene.
MITB had less than 10% (yes it's quantifiable!) to do with cena and that's the honest to god truth.

a lot of is was the shoot, a lot of it was teh build, a lot of it was the crowd

MITB was 5* because:
1. the CM punk angle
2. the chicago crowd
3. ??????????????????????????????
4. cena

The MITB match wasnt particularly good. It was everything around the match itself that made it 5*s.

And yeah, i thought MITB was epic when Punk and Bryan won their matches, so zip forward ~6 months and they hold the two top titles. Awesome.

One of the things that speaks to this not being a terrible PPV at all is no use of blueboyaids.gif in this thread.

I'm not sure why it didn't show up during Nash/HHH, but that was clearly as deserving as anything else could be.

Nash/HHH was too funny to be filled with aids.

Cena was good up to and including MITB. Anyone ****ting on him is just letting their bias cloud themself. Afterwords, when he crushed Rey after winning the tourney and since, yeah, I get it, same old ****. However, Cena is def worth more than 10%, maybe 30-40%, 50% punk, 10% Vince/Johnny Ace.

I mean after he was pretty decent, lol @ the "5 moves of doom, heel persona" promo. It's only been the past 6-8 weeks he has been the old ****ty Cena.

It was more than 6-8 weeks ago when he was playing the role of little bitch who yelled at ADR for having the audacity to cash in his briefcase and yelling "YOU ARE NOT A CHAMPION!"

ProWrestling.net is reporting that the reason why WWE decided to book the World Title switch at tonight's TLC PPV is because Mark Henry is legitimately hurt.

According to the report, Henry suffered what's being described as a pull in the groin area, which he reportedly suffered during his match against John Cena on Raw this past Monday night. After having the injury evaluated, it turned out to be more serious than originally thought.

It's being said that a majority of the creative team wanted to allow Henry to work a lighter schedule in order to let the injury heal, however Vince McMahon was said to be less sympathetic and decided to book the title switch at TLC tonight.
oh cena

You know, I saw Mark Henry walking gingerly and thought, "Man, he's doing a nice job of continuing to sell the injury." Okay, maybe I was giving him too much credit in the moment.

****in' Cena, and ****in' Vince. I wish, just once, that Vinny would listen to Creative when they have a good idea.
12-19-2011 , 02:03 AM
Sighhhh
I mean how can I be mad at Daniel Bryan winning the mfing WHC
But ffs Vince let smackdown creative do what they do and stop interferring

Just a rando suggestion, feel like PPV threads should be closed very shortly after the PPV so we can get more discussion back in Threadzilla?

Just feel as if the analysis/etc. should be in a centralized location.

I like it.
Lets move back
