This can't possibly be part of the long term booking idea for RAW, right?

They realised a few weeks ago she was the most over talent in the company. God knows what plan A was but AJ as GM is plan B and it will be this way till she drops in popularity.

The whole bit was just ****ing stupid.

DB doesn't have enough face points to really get any sympathy from the marks when AJ ditches him, Stephanie McMahon is precedent in kayfabe land that you can still **** talent and be a GM, the whole "I'm running away to be GM" was just stupid.

Now, change what happened to "AJ runs up the ramp, leaps into VM's arms and wraps her legs around him like Kane" then you've got some heat.

I am skeptical of there even being long term booking ideas. I guess setting up a match for WM well in advance counts but they had no idea what to do with Rock/Cena. And allegedly Rock In The Bank at RR was AJ's first act as GM because...?? She is a huge Dwyane fan? Nice job ****ting on the briefcase idea though in the process.

You know, I have the same general thought.

Oftentimes it doesn't seem that the thought process "if we do x this week then that's setting up for y next week" enters their minds. It's more like "ok, we did x last week, so now we're gonna try y". Someone needs to remind them it's a soap opera, not a sitcom. The premise is rather simple. You engage the audience, get them emotionally attached to what's occurring, then always leave them wanting more.

The piped-in crowd noise on Smackdown is just lol bad. A minor punch to the stomach by Jinder Mahal got a bigger crowd reaction than CM Punk clothes-lining Dwayne.

so did cena really become the first mitb cash in to not win the belt? i'm really thinking on the next raw it'll be declared that his cash in didn't count because of the big show and then he'll re-cash for a shot at summerfest (because cena can't just get a title shot whenever the **** he wants, folks). and of course punk will job because he's a heel now, so that means immediate belt drop and 4 consecutive ppv rematches where he loses every one of them and then ends up in a tag title reign with big show. ugh.
