There's an odd perversion of incentives with wrestling booking -- if you have someone that's incredibly over, it really makes more sense NOT to give them titles under any circumstance. Giving them a title isn't going to make them any more over, and you can use the title to make someone who isn't very interesting more interesting -- so by giving the over team/person the titles, you reduce the number of potentially interesting storylines.
I think it makes whoever goes over the over person/team for the title that much stronger/believable.
The Heyman/Joe promo is worth checking out on YouTube if you didn't watch Raw. It really set the perfect tone for the feud. After choking out Heyman, the crowd starts to chant "We want Brock." Joe picks up the mic and says "And so do I." Such a badass moment.
That was cool. Joe wasn't mic'd when he was whispering to Heyman. So the crowd had no idea what was going to happen. Not sure if that was good or bad.
There's just nothing of note happening. I really am enjoying Jinder's run, but it feels like nothing really matters until Cena comes back on the 4th of July and sets up their likely feud for SummerSlam.
Yeah there's 4 builds right now and they're all meh. 2 MITB matches, Jinder/Orton and the tag match. Jinder's already starting to fall into a routine and Orton is boring, Usos/New Day is really cringy and the MITB builds is just the participants wrestling each other every week. The PPV should be good though, the men's MITB line up is pretty sick.
I want to see Jinder work against literally anyone other than Orton in a title feud. I feel he's doing fantastic work right now but the charisma vacuum that is Da Vipah is stopping his program from being even remotely interesting.

Jinder's new entrance is boss.
I agree with all of this. Jinder/Cena should be great.
Stupid angle particularly considering the team involved. Enzo was legit concussed during a match and not allowed to move. Now Cass kayfabe exhibits every sign of a concussion but they let him go wrestle. A little consistency is obviously too much to ask for.
