I remember an old SNL sketch from 1990 or so, when it seemed as if George HW Bush was going to win reelection easily, and the Democratic candidates had a Debate to Avoid Being the Guy Who Loses to Bush.

http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-li.../2859836?snl=1

That's tonight's Fatal Five Way.

got tickets to Raw in Toronto a few weeks before Summerslam

Hoping by that time Brauuuun is going for Brock's strap cause I predict Toronto will put him over as a mega babyface

Smackdown probably would be the better show ..... AJ, KO, Jinder's smirk. More importantly we wouldn't have to sit through a 15 minute Bray promo

ok this who is attacking enzo (and now cass) storyline is pathetic and needs to advance already.

Eh, actually, the more weeks this happens the less I have to see them wrestle and give that stupid introduction promo.

I take it back, carry on WWE.

I'm trying to catch up, and I just saw a commercial for tomorrow night's SD where KO is wrestling Nakamura. Let's put the fact that this is such a waste of a big match aside for a second, but they are advertising it as their first matchup ever. I could have sworn I watched a match on YouTube or Daily Motion between these two from a few years back. I'm not nuts, right?

I was hopeful that after Goldust squashed R-truth they were gonna maybe give him one last push under his new (old) gimmick.

Alas, we're gonna get a stupid long drawn out feud between the two of them that will culminate in the cool-down match at Great Balls of Fire and that'll be the last we hear of either one of them.

That was Kevin Steen, not Kevin Owens. Easy mistake to make. One was just some Indy guy. The other is a WWE Superstar.

Alternate answer: things that didn't happen in WWE don't exist.

Both of these are excellent points, and I'm ashamed to admit I didn't think of either on my own

The Heyman/Joe promo is worth checking out on YouTube if you didn't watch Raw. It really set the perfect tone for the feud. After choking out Heyman, the crowd starts to chant "We want Brock." Joe picks up the mic and says "And so do I." Such a badass moment.

I was talking about the Miz segment where it seemed obvious that Dean was the bear.

I agree that Cass is probably behind this whole "attacker" angle, which would be the most interesting thing that team has done since moving up from NXT.

Seems criminal they never got a Tag Title run considering how over they were and still are. FFS even The Club got a run, and they've been practically jobbers all this time.

Just good, solid anti-singalong social engineering IMO.

There's an odd perversion of incentives with wrestling booking -- if you have someone that's incredibly over, it really makes more sense NOT to give them titles under any circumstance. Giving them a title isn't going to make them any more over, and you can use the title to make someone who isn't very interesting more interesting -- so by giving the over team/person the titles, you reduce the number of potentially interesting storylines.
