Was Raw yesterday just a bunch of relegation matches?

New Day, Charlotte, Jinder, Shining Stars, KO all got pinned last night. Sami was the only one to win.

AJ/KO can be great

Turns out Finn got concussed from that Jinder elbow. That makes 5 matches on the main roster and two injuries by my count (two to become #1 contender for Universal title, vs Rollins, return last week, this week). Damn.

Luckily Finn's feud doesn't start until after Payback.

solid match of course but obv there's something else cooking for the World title right? If AJ is in the midcard there's a gap missing.

could be some shenanigans going on, ie. Bork ends up on SDL

I imagine they just want to keep AJ away from Orton until Summerslam.

Considering Owens was just the Universal Champion 2 months ago, this isn't really that much of a demotion when you see who he's feuding with.

^ yeah that makes sense.

I just hope they don't paint by the numbers like usual and we get some good storylines/swerves/heel turns this year

Right now BRAUUUN is the best thing going

Yep.

Obviously WWE doesn't see their current act as a problem that needs fixing, and to be fair it would be quite unreasonable to expect them to, them being a for-profit company and all.

Eventually the current New Day will stop being a thing, but that day sure doesn't seem like it will be soon.

They are stuck in a holding pattern since Bray/Orton isn't until Backlash on May 21st.

When Charlotte lost, I assumed it was the same thing as Bliss losing in her last Smackdown match--going out on your back to solidly lose the feud and move on to the new show. Same thing with KO.

Nobody watching SD will remember what happened on Raw. That was a whole day ago.

How can Sami still fake his emotions so well during the pin/inevitable kickout after the blue power bomb? Every single match consists of this guy coming so close before losing. Eventually I'd just be like ok no one thinks I'm actually gonna win, I can get a little less excited.

SD has one of the best rosters ever. Think the draft has been pretty good, seems like both shows cater to a certain type of fan.

Really gonna miss Miz on Talking Smack, but Kevin Owens on there has lots of potential.

On a side note, Jinder Mahal is my new favorite wrestler. He he forever remain unhindered.
He got a concussion from that hit and could miss some time.

It's not looking good for him if he can't stay healthy.

Rebrand Jinder to "The Maharaja Of Strong Style".

Demote Balor to an active volcano.

Profit.

At least this time he gave a bit more of an effort on the cover.

I haven't watched a Raw in probably 15 years, but I'm in a hotel with the USA network so I'm in.

They do it in the PPVs too, but I hate hate hate the camera cuts. They always do a cut like mid-move

It's so annoying.

Braun is the biggest face on Raw now.

Good thing they'll give him the Reigns treatment of shoving him as a heel down our throats

They seem to be a lot more malleable about giving guys face turns when the crowd starts demanding it, unless the person is Swiss.

Why make that stipulation for the US title if Jericho is not winning? Shouldn't the drama be whether he can bring the title back to Raw or not? And he's probably not winning because they're already setting up for AJ/KO.

I saw some verified accounts in twitter saying they thought Big Cass would be a strong singles guy. I don't see it at all. He's so boring. Has his character really improved or changed in any way since his debut?
