So Foley is basically always carrying around a sock in his crotch for the last twenty years?

Don't act like he is the first wrestler to walk around with a sock in their crotch

But he's the first one who seems to enjoy constantly pulling it out in public.

Reasonably well done final segment despite the sad Foley-Socko part. HHH has his part as the monster heel down pat. I wish Foley didn't become the character he has. So far from "Cane Dewey" Cactus, sadly.

HHH has been so good during this feud. I honestly think this is some of the best work he's ever done.

He seems the same as he's ever been, which is really damn good, but his current performance is likely perceived as elevated due to the inability of many other players on the current roster to reach anything close to that level from a character standpoint.

HHH can be great at making things seem important but I just don't care about Rollins anymore so the feud does nothing for me.

After seeing HHH face Sting and Roman in consecutive years, I'm just not looking forward to the match at all. He had a great match with Bryan, but ****, that's Bryan ****ing Danielson. afaic, his last great Mania match excluding the best wrestler in North American history was at 22 in 2006 against Cena.

Undertaker needs to go away. Seriously.

Should Kane grow his hair back pre 2003 or have his hair from when he first took off his mask (2003)?

Good question, might need a separate thread.

Yeah and Seth has already declined after his first injury, I'm not getting my hopes up that his ring work will be that great after a second. There really isn't any matches that I see having potential to be great. Owens/Jericho should be good but I doubt they'll be given much more than 10 mins ring time. If Vince wanted to top Okada/Omega then he has no chance with this card.

He's just taking the moneyball approach and trying to recreate six stars in the aggregate.

Watched the final segment this morning. I take back a lot of my complaints about the Steph/Mick stuff. That ending was very well done. I share the concerns about the workrate of the Seth/HHH match, but they have a chance of pulling it off.

There is no excuse for that New Day segment however. Worst thing I've seen this year. Unfortunately with New Day as hosts, Wrestlemania is a lock to have 2 really ****ty skits minimum (and probably more like 3 or 4). This realization takes away any goodwill from the final segment.

Honestly, I'll take a few short bad skits sprinkled throughout the show instead of one 30 minute skit towards the end of a 7 hour show

Did they do that final segment to have Seth make another miraculous comeback at Mania or to finally put him out for good and have Balor take his place?

I can't imagine how they would have had him take the bumps he did if his knee wasn't very close to 100% healthy.

Agreed. I honestly suspect the whole injury is a work to build him up.

You won't get just a few short bad skits. You'll surely get 20+ minutes with them at the start of the show. And then more skits throughout the show.

For whatever reason, I find it easier to skip something in the beginning as opposed to the middle or end of a show.

Surprisingly, during that Bring It to the Table show on the network last night, Graves said he had no interest in seeing AJ wasted on Shane at Mania. I wonder if he's been future endeavored yet.

Agree. It's a story that generates zero interest from either side. Just totally meh.
