College football coaches routinely get fired and then coach the bowl game anyway as scheduled.

i think one of the reasons for this is that wwe thinks the ONLY way a normal tag match can go is: pick the lesser face and have him get beat in the heel corner, then after 5 minutes have him 'hot tag' in the better face and have the better face clean house. its so repetitive.

Epico and Primo should make this their gimmick. Only challenge people to tornado matches. Easy way to break the lame-ass "face team gets a hot tag" formula and have crazy **** happen in the flow of a match.

Absolutely this needs to stop. It worked well decades ago when tag matches started to get really popular, but by now everybody and even grandma knows about it, so it's lost any kind of emotional effect and is super predictable.

My fantasy when he and Bryan were going back and forth when he was on the apron was Bryan to semi shoot on him by ending with "wait, didnt you get fired cos you lost, to Santino!?"

And yeah, i would absolutely take more tornado tags. Basically all people want to see is double team combo moves anyway, so just do a lot of tornadoes so there are near constant double team combos.

I still cant work out if PrimEpico are face or heel though. Not that its important i guess.

I think they're supposed to be heel. Hasn't Rosa at least run referee distractions and stuff? And they only wrestle faces so far.

Only just found out that Epico and Primo are cousins. I had chalked it up to coincidence that they look so similar.

Just finished my DVR of Smackdown. Amazing how well the show has been delivering.

Absolutely loved the booking at the end where the lumberjacks just basically took over the match. Equally good was Teddy Long's "holeonaminuteplaya, wtf are you doing back here?" to which D-Bryan responds with a legit complaint of "wtf was that out there?" Triple Threat Steel cage match at RR seems interesting, although I don't envision any scenerio where Bryan drops the belt. Earliest I see him losing it is possibly at EC.

Most people seem to like it, but I thought that was a pretty weak smackdown episode, considering how good it has been recently. Everything including Bryan and Henry was good but besides that there wasn't much going on. It was still an ok show, because to be honest I really only care about the main event angle and it delivered again. But the rest was weak in my opinion.

One of my favourite backstage stories is about how Carlito and Primo were booked as a tag team before basically everyone in the creative team realised they were brothers. Apparently they just wanted to bring up Primo and figured since he looked a lot like Carlito and they were from Puerto Rico they seemed like a good fit, lol. They did a couple dark matches to see if they had chemistry (lol) and when they met creative to discuss plans and how it would play out debuting them on TV when one of them casually mentioned it in conversation and everyone was just blankfaced wondering how the hell they didnt know that already.

I thought that the Sheamus v. Barrett table match was really very solid.

I love the D-Bry heel turn. They could make him into the "Ultimate Opportunist" where he always outsmarts his opponents and finds a way to win like Edge did.

I don't think Cole was as bad as he usually is with his burying of Bryan. Yeah, he's still doing it but at least he's not losing his mind about it.

Bryan invoking "best wrestler in the world" is the nuts. He really is a great heel and one good performance at the RR will confirm it to everyone imo afaik.

Did anyone else hear him reference Punk and Jericho and get the painfully awesome idea (painful because it'll never happen) of a Punk-Jericho-Bryan Triple Threat for both titles at WM?

Jericho is the guy who unifies both titles for the second time? That I could get behind.

Jericho wins the rumble and says he wants a shot at both title? Yes.

Jericho uniting the titles again at WM would be perfection.

Except of course Cena will beat him for the unified titles the next night on Raw ldo.

And then toss both titles for an Undisputed spinner belt.
