WWE's FB page said Enzo is responsive and moving his extremities. He's being taken to the hospital as a precaution and for tests.

Just feels like a textbook heel wins rematch face wins face wins rubber match feud

Mostly bc I can't see an opponent for Dean after Jericho just yet

when did the Walls of Jericho become just a straight boston crab with nothing special about it?

it definitely wasn't always, right?

He used to apply it standing straight up. At least I think that's how he used to do it

Oh snap, we almost got the vaunted submission move on the table.

It used to look terribly painful when someone as small as Rey Mysterio was in it. Now it only looks painful if a dude legit tears his quad first.

He used to stand and kind of put his knee on the guy's head. I'm not sure if there's a safety reason they stopped doing it that way or what, but it looked way more brutal.

The Walls hasn't been a Lion Tamer in quite some time

EDIT: skip ahead to :17 in this video

The bounceback clothesline count for the night is actually higher than the finisher kickout count.

it used to be the liontamer, which involved putting his knee on the back of someones head.

when he moved to the wwe he was fighting larger people (instead of cruiserweights) and struggled to do that due to size, so it switched to a boston crab

at least thats my recollection from the book. havent read it in ages tho

very nitty, but why do they always put submissions on in the middle of the ring in non-finishing situations when it's clear the other guy is going to make it to the ropes? makes it way less believable.

I remember in Daniel Bryan's first match on NXT Jericho won by putting him in an old school Lion Tamer and I marked out a bit.

Think I'm starting to like Roman more too in light of his new tweener gimmick

This is mostly a statement of how much I hate Dean tho

I think he changed to a straight Boston Crab around the time he went to WWE, which is when he left the cruiserwight division. I'd guess it's harder to perform on larger opponents because he's holding more weight in the Lion Tamer version. So yeah, he could do the Lion Tamer against Rey Mysterio, but harder to do so against Rock, Austin, HHH, etc.

its just dumb because the whole idea of the Jericho struggle to 'turn him over' into the Walls makes so much more sense if he's doing his classic Standing Lion Tamer like sumbission, when he just ends up sitting on top of him it makes the whole setup lame imo.
