Miz/Ziggler was great. Great enough that, despite me strongly rooting for Miz throughout, I was fine with the result.

I'm assuming there's not much reason to watch the rest?

Also taking my son to SD live in San Jose tomorrow which we're stoked about. Can't wait to see the fallout from this match.

Yeah, I ended up fast-forwarding just to see what ending they could have put on the show that would have justified not putting Ziggler/Miz on last given that the ME was first. Turns out it was just another Bray Wyatt match with another Bray Wyatt ending. Zero idea how that's what they send the show home on, especially given that Ziggler/Miz had the feel-good babyface moment and Wyatt/Orton didn't.

One would assume that they need a program for Bliss now that Becky is out. The loss was by roll-up, so it wasn't a super strong win for Naomi, so it seems that Bliss will win the Naomi feud as a lead-up to her match with Becky.

It's always been common practice that when there is a last minute replacement in a match, that the wrestler doing the replacing goes over. I'm not saying it's right, I'm just saying that is how is usually is

Very average PPV apart from Miz/Ziggler. Just a really well done angle and this week proved the WWE know how to manipulate the dirtsheets with all the "Ziggler transitioning to a backstage role" rumors.

You know what would make the contender look stronger than barely losing? Winning. The contender can go a few weeks without a feud, just cutting promos and beating people. But if you want a feud, you can start one in a million ways other than taking a pin. For example, Alexa could have cheated to win, leading to Naomi wanting to get revenge. And Alexa again cheats to win or gets a clean win.

And the common practice of replacement going over only applies when the replacement's opponent isn't scheduled for a title shot in the near future. Or, used to only apply then.
