According to a quick Google search it was a TNA thing. I've never seen it myself, but here's what YouTube has given me.

It helps you find some of the worst matches of all time.

Also seriously, if you're not going for sheer boredom and awfulness but really want some entertaining trainwreck value, Four Doinks vs. Team Bam Bam is pretty elite. God that was awful.

Bastion Booger getting up in the middle of a pin attempt because he wanted to go eat a banana is tough to argue with.

just finished the razor/shawn ladder matches. somehow they always seem to live up to the hype and nostalgia i've built up in my head. shawn has several moments of over/bad acting, but i overlook them.

what are some other must-see ladder, cage and tlc matches? (nothing beyond 2003 ish)

Brock/Taker - HiaC @ No Mercy 2002
Hardys vs Edge/Christian - Ladder match @ No Mercy 1999 super underrated match, only because they went on to top it.
Jericho vs Benoit - Ladder Match @ Rumble 2001
Benoit vs Angle - Cage match - RAW 6/11/01 (not on network but seek it out)
TLC III on SD! 5/24/01 (again, seek it out)
HHH vs Rock - Ladder - SummerSlam 98

Watching top 10 most infamous gimmicks of all time.

Only at 7 now, but already got some nostalgia and some dudes I've never heard of. Didn't know John Lauranitis was a wrestler at all. Guess that gives him SOME credibility in my eyes now... I guess?

GLACIER was awesome. Guess I'm in a huge minority here. Maybe I'd think less of the gimmick if I was watching when his WCW vignettes were running and realized how hyped his entrance was.

100k to make his outfit?!! WHAT THE ***

Oh ****. Disco Inferno! Fandango before Fandango. God I loved this gimmick too. Not sure if marking out so often watching this is good or bad...

Going back and finishing where I left off on FL 99' last night. XPac just gave Chyna a bronco buster and it made me laugh more than it probably should have.

HHH vs Rock strap match was very good. Interference aided victory in the end for HHH is kinda meh, but whatever.

*** 1/2 - *** 3/4 from me.

Ok. For my 2nd PPV I've settled on a dud with a few bright spots (according to internet reviews/ Meltzer ratings).

Over the Limit 12'. I look at the main even and cringe, but then I also see Punk vs Bryan and think this might be worth it.

Here we go...

Ok, so it literally starts in the middle of a, what, 30? person battle royal. Oh! One of the entrants was a late entrant too... Christian! Wonder who's gonna win -__-

Slater is 1st to be eliminated.

OH MY GOD! JTG SIGHTING!

Lol, Yoshi Tatsu in yet another battle royal.

Tyler Reks. Man, I was so high on that guy. Wonder what ever happened to him? Really thought he had big things in his future. The look was too good.

Speaking of look that's too good (and he's in this match too)... I hope Titus Oneal doesn't fall to the same fate. That guy looks like a champ.

Santino and Cody sitting ringside watching on as current IC and US champ.

I still don't understand them starting a PPV LITERALLY in the middle of a match. No intro, no talking. Just BAM. We're having a match! Has this ever happened before?

Ugh Khali. Someone said in this forum earlier that he adds value, and I think I agree, but I have no idea what it is.

Oh, okay... so the winner of this gets to pick between Cody and Santino for who they want to face tonight for their belt.

Cody needs another super push. Sigh.

Haha Darren Young just botched going over the ropes from an Alex Riley drop kick so hard.

F4 is Tyson Kidd, David Otunga, The Mix, and Christian.

I've honestly seen very little of Kidd, but I'm quickly starting to see why the IWC loves him so much. Kids legit.

Every time I see Otunga I can't help but be reminded of him being on "I Love New York". What an amazingly trashy reality show. Those are my favorites.

So, while I'm tying away and we're here... Why did Christian ever get a main event push to begin with. He's a solid worker/ wrestler/ etc. He's pretty much above average to very good at everything, but is he great at anything? I never did and probably never will understand it.

And Christian wins. Fun enough start I guess.

Now we get a People Power infomercial like video. I'm starting to think not watching wrestling at this time was a find choice.

Well that ****ing sucked. Why did Laurenitis get to put himself in a match vs Cena to headline (a very lol) PPV? ****ing creative man.

Didn't know (or totally washed it from my memory) that Vickie apparently once managed a Swagger/Ziggler tag team.

hahaha King. "How many peeping Toms do you think she's cured in her life?" - Directed at Vickie, obv.

Kingston R-Truth vs Swagger Ziggler was really solid as expected.

Truth and Kofi retain.

Hmm, I thought the spartan tag belts were pretty new. Apparently they've been around for a few years. Did not know that.

Ahh, Beth Phoenix. What ever happened to her anyway? Apparently her last match was a 15s pinfall victory over AJ at a 2012 Raw...

Off to wiki!

Ok, found it.

On the October 1 episode of Raw, Phoenix lost to Torres.[88] On the October 29 episode of Raw, Phoenix was defeated by AJ Lee in a singles match, but the match was restarted by Raw Managing Supervisor, Vickie Guerrero, allowing Phoenix to win. After the match, in storyline, Guerrero fired Phoenix for her poor performance.[89] In reality, Phoenix had given her notice to WWE in September and left the company for family reasons

Del Rio wasn't entirely boring and his heel gimmick actually worked when he had Ricardo as his personal ring announcer and he came out in those sick ass cars every week.

He's got literally nothing going for himself now to me.

Fatal 4-Way for the World Heavyweight strap. Sheamus (c) vs Orton vs Jericho vs Del Rio.

Orton by FAR got the biggest ovation. I guess North Carolina loves Randy. In fairness though, it was a lot of girly shrills in there.

Miz vs Brodus Clay. Miz actually was awesome for a while. He needs a new schtick. The dude can do a little of everything and imo is just being wasted at the moment.

Also, am I the only one that actually dug the Funkasorous gimmick for a while when he first came around? Probably.

Cody and Christian had a sweet spot where Rhodes ran up the buckle and did a moonsault. Not an uncommon spot, but Christian caught all legs and took it like a champ.

He got buried by Cena, right?
