Avoided spoilers and just got through the UK tourney. All great matches, with the Finals probably a 4.5 star effort. Terrific story telling the whole time in front of a molten hot crowd. Really happy I watched this instead of Raw tonight.
I finally got around to watching Bash at the Beach 2000 in it's entirety. I'm tempted to do a full write-up on it, but idk if I can do that show the justice it deserves. On the surface it's objectively terrible, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't entertained. It's probably the perfect example of a show being so bad it's good. From the show starting off with the Kat literally fighting off ninjas, to the Demon/Vampiro graveyard match, then whatever the hell that Sting segment was, of course Jarrett laying down for Hogan, Russo's "shoot" which I'm still not entirely sure what that was all about, and finally Booker T winning the belt for the first time. Now that I think about it, I probably will do a full write-up, because the show really is that amazing.
