The jobber vs jobber matches on WWF TV at that point actually were welcome as they were usually the only match on the show where the winner was at all uncertain.
To be fair, I didn't have the first clue that Undertaker-Berzerker would end in Berzerker trying to stab Taker to death with his sword about 30 seconds in.
That was the same year that Jake Roberts's snake chomped into Randy Savage's arm, which was significantly more disturbing than almost anything in any era.
I remember the actual bite vividly. It was so shocking that the snake actually bit somebody. And of course they have Elizabeth screaming and screeching and yelling "Randy!" And they show kids crying. All contributing to the horror.
Haha, with all this jobber discussion, I just made myself some scrambled eggs and ham with some leftover Easter ham, only to think now how Bobby Heenan would call me a Ham 'n Egger.

It's ok. I wouldn't have hurt him. He's already dead.
Fwiw they are uploading these separately than the other RAWs, so RAW replays currently goes up to 11 Nov 96, and the attitude era RAWs run 15 Dec 97 to 4 Jan 99. (so most of 97 is still missing if you're wanting to go in order).

Thats annoying
Almost as annoying as the way Lex Luger and Sting no sold Flairs chops in years 89/90
I just want everybody to know that I just subscribed for this month I got the network for free. I immediately canceled as well. $9.99 is a little too much for me! Looks like they've added ~8 months of ECW HC TV in the last two months or so. This pleases me. They're up to 3/96. From 11/96 until They went to TNN in 99 is hands down their best time period. ECW Exposed looks good to.
#1 reason to get it: Passes time while playing poker.
Watched Reigns vs Lesnar again. Match is better than I remember. Brock's booking/timing in that match is impeccable. The way he sold the Superman punches, the getting up after one spear and taking a second. Just gold. Also think he got hardwayed now. He had his gloves off when he got busted and this was actually like five minutes after the ref checked Roman's hand. Nice coincidence for Roman there.
Watched Rivalries: Dusty vs Flair. In describing why Dusty was such a moneymaker they pretty much described Daniel Bryan. I don't get why he wasn't pushed to the moon. Was a great documentary. Can't find the 86 Bash cage match anywhere which gives me a sad.
Now starting at the beginning of the Attitude Era RAWs on 12/22/97.
I have started at the beginning of the Attitude Era RAWs myself, and the first thing I see is that I completely forgot how seizure inducing DX's entrances were back then. Maybe Im just getting old, but Im having a hard time watching that thing.
The matches on these Attitude Era Raws are mostly short and mediocre. Yet people cared so much more about them (compared to today) because people loved the angles and characters so much more.
Yeah, the first match on the second episode literally went about 30 seconds but was great because the postmatch created an angle or furthered it. Most stuff was like that. Everything had a purpose. Now, everything is filler.
