They might as well turn Viktor and Konnor into The Surfer Dudes with Attitude on Smackdown. Can't imagine it would hurt.

Which section is Southpaw on the Network? I was looking yesterday and couldn't find it.

It's just 4 short videos on youtube, this is the first one.

this beyond the ring on last year's WM is pretty good. Wife is loving it after she sees the emotional Charlotte talking her dead brother

"why don't they talk about this stuff on the actual show, i'd care about these people a lot more..."

They did. It was horribly received.

I'm now watching this ECW 50 greatest moments.

Even though i never watched much of ECW it's pretty great

This belongs in NVG but I'm putting it here so people don't miss the JR stuff because

Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned WWE and Sinclair Broadcast Group have recently discussed a potential buyout of Ring of Honor in secret … this according to sources.

Multiple sources with direct knowledge tell us the companies have been talking since January and things have been slowly progressing, with the plan being a full takeover if the deal is made official.

This would include the weekly TV show beginning to air on the WWE Network. No word at this point on whether every wrestler on the roster would continue working in ROH if it happens.

Keep in mind, there’s no actual deal on the table right now and discussions are simply that. This means the buyout could always fall through if both sides can’t agree on specifics.

Case in point, WWE had discussions with TNA last year about a buyout that never came to fruition.

Reps for WWE for ROH declined to comment.
PWS is a pretty reputable source. This would be amazing(ly awful) if it were to happen. However, it does make sense from ROH's pov from the 15 seconds I've thought about it.

Would it be awful? What are the chances that they just want more network content? Now you can have all of Bryan Danielson, Kevin Steen, El Generico, AJ Styles, Seth Rollins old matches on demand. I could see them just leaving ROH pretty much as is, upgrading their broadcast quality and putting it on the Network as a weekly Friday night show.

Awful as in afaik it's bigger than TNA atm and it's killing more competition that has room to grow. It would be incredible to get that library on the network. I might subscribe without a free subscription then . They should add $5/mo for that library.

Don't give them any ideas to take more of my money. (But I would obv ship it)

Ugh, don't know what to think. I don't think I like the idea of TNA being the only American company with a TV deal not owned by the WWE.

maybe they'll keep broadcasting it on the sinclair network as part of the deal and stick the live stream of the network on their too

I want to binge something tonight on the Network, but I'm not sure what I want to watch, so I'll leave it up to you guys. I'm trying to decide between a couple episodes of World Championship Wrestling, the Shawn Michaels Mania collection, or the RAW after Mania collection. Thoughts? Feelings?

Yeah I watched all of those years ago when they were available on YouTube. And I have watched them all again since getting the Network. You are right, those are fantastic

Whenever I see someone on a different forum say "I just the Network, what should I watch?" Those are always the first thing I recommend

I guess Sunday night isn't the best time to launch an instant poll. So I took it upon myself to go with the Wrestlemania Monday collection, and I highly recommend it.

My father-in-law wanted to watch some recent stuff before Mania so we watched FL yesterday. Just some random thoughts:

Joe/Zayn was better than I remembered but they can do a lot better with more time. Something I doubt will ever happen on a ppv for these two.

Enzo's and Cass's lines once they started talking in the ring were dreadful. I don't even know how adults can go out there and say some of the stuff they were saying. The match wasn't any better. Painfully boring.

Nia put Sasha in the torture rack and I was sitting there thinking "how did Luger make this look like an exciting move because this doesn't look like it should be a thing". Confession: At some points I liked Nia because I love monster characters. She did have some decent offense.

I thought Gallagher/Neville was pretty damn good the first time I watched it. I thought it was even better on the second watch. Great match. **** for that.

Braun/Roman was also better on a second watch. I love Braun. Hopefully he takes a permanent spot in the uppercard. Roman's spear is so bad.

Charlotte/Bayley was still horrible. No dq for the interference by Sasha makes no sense. No, Sasha didn't land any offense but she clearly had intent to do so which led to Charlotte attacking her and then Bayley hitting her finisher on the floor.

Goldberg still knows how to do a spear. Roman should take notes.

edit: We also watched AJ/Cena from RR. Still awful. I wanted to watch the Rumble event instead of FL but ffs the 4 guys in the world title matches at the Rumble aren't even in the title matches at WM. Also, explaining brand titles to someone who never watches outside of WM is not fun.

I wonder if the Cena-loving kids actually love the AA. That move has always looked so incredibly lame to me. I agree that Roman throws a bad spear, but he's at least bound to luck into occasional spots where the opponent makes it look great. I don't think anyone can make me buy the AA as anything more than a glorified bodyslam.

The funny part about the AA is when he debuted it as the FU he was billing it as a better version of the F5.
