It was only a couple years ago when the rumors were how vince and haitches were so divided on who should be the nxt big guy between big e and roman. we live in the darkest timeline.
If the Big E/Roman rumor is actually true, the alternate path would have been that Big E would have been forced to play a completely lame John Cena character that we would all hate.
I'm certainly glad he got sent down the New Day path.
I love the hof day. Just getting to see them all turn off the characters, talk about all the good times, and have their love/passion shine through. Feels good man
When Stan Hansen was going long i started to feel awkward that someone was going to come out and cut him off and take him off stage. Have not got that feeling once so far with this induction.
Just ran across this clip, pretty fun stuff. Big Bubba, in his pre-Boss Man days, was being pushed as an unstoppable monster who would no-sell everything, would never exhibit pain, etc.
Cornette said there was an incident in a parking lot where a driver slammed a car's trunk door down on Bubba's fingers and the door actually latched. Bubba calmly alerts him with, "hey brother, the door here," at which point the driver is of course horrified to realize what happened. He frees Bubba's hand. Upon getting freed up, he heads inside the arena, and once the door closes he finally screams in agony. Cornette asks him why he didn't react. Bubba replies, "I couldn't sell that. There were fans watching."
